Personally, I use lololol, but I'm comtemplating switching to Opera, due to the recent...well...idiocy surrounding lololol users. Sure, it is a better browser, but they're getting so damn pushy that they're starting to look worse. Just take a look at what they're trying to do with this. Not only is that an immature and/or "violent" plan, but it's not going to work. Odds are, most of those sites are going to be lame sites run by elitists or some other treacherous person. Most people would probably just not go back to the site after being shot away for not having lololol.  |

Hehe, that is pretty funny. The whole browser war thing is getting ridiculous though. The FF fanboys are acting like 12-year-olds, the Opera fanboys are spreading all manner of "myths" that are just plain false about FF, and the IE fanboys... come to think of it I haven't seen them in a while.  |

| Yeah, I really dislike the FF elitism cult that's spawned around it. IE works fine for me, and I did download FF, since it's recommended for coding for a class I'm taking this quarter, but my scrollbar doesn't work in it, the google toolbar doesn't work as I'd like it, and a couple other minor issues. | |||

I use lololol because of Adblock, and because my mom uses Safari with all these custom preferences that drive me nuts. I'll definitely switch to Safari when I get my own computer; it performs much better. |

| I've seriously never had any real problems with IE, and therefore there's no reason to switch. Simple as that. I'm not going to say it's better, because on a number of measures it's probably not.
But...it works fine for me, so I see no reason to switch. Not like it hurts you for me to use IE |

| I like FF. I used IE forever until a few months ago, when I decided to give FF a try because people don't know the difference between a good layout and a bad layout. Adblock is my best friend.
FF is nicer for me in that it allows for custom schemes, but what I like the best is tabs. That's something I never had for so long, and it's fantastic. FANTASTIC. I love tabs. But I still have to use IE when I'm on my dad's computer (which is often), so I use both. |

Simple solutions to browser-ist web pages include using Proxomitron to edit the user agent string and lololol's User Agent Switcher extension. Though I find sites that do this are rarely worth the time to read anyway.

My experience has always been that a given piece of code is valid and works in every browser except IE, or isn't valid and doesn't work in any browser. It's about 7MB, hardly bloated, and has never frozen even on an old P200 with Win98 and 16MB of RAM I have laying around. The closest was a crash bug that occurred every now and then in an older version when loading one specific web page. |
