| Zekt grunted, just before dashing to the side. Zero was getting good, true, but even him wouldn't be a challenge like that, in his opinion.
The Sonic Boom was parried by the copy's scythe, who then hopped upwards, aiming to strike at Zero. Just as the Sonic Boom would have crashed onto the probe, however, it PASSED right through it! "Oh, come on, Zero..." Zekt told him, as he was dashing away, "you really think I'd use such an easy trick?" |

| The Crimson Hunter brought his saber up, and managed to block the weapon from cleaving through him. Shit! So it was a mirage... but he said "such an easy trick"... so there must be something out there that's projecting this mechaniloid image.
He tried to aim a kick, and if sucessful, he'll then punch it in the face to stun it, then dash away to get some distance. If that kick doesn't work, the punch doesn't happen, and he'll still remain in that spot holding off this fake. * * * "Layer, Palette, have you managed to locate David or the others yet?" "No Alia," Palette said, "even if Dave's communicator arm was still functional, we can't find the team." "It must be because there are still enemy forces out there, a possibly jamming signal, or something that I cannot explain," Layer explained. Alia only nodded. "We know that the last place we sent them to was at this vast desert region to take out a possible virus threat and some enemy Navis using Copyroid technology. What if I was teleported there?" "Not possible ma'am. Even if we did send you there using the Transerver System, you'd probably end out miles away from them, and be lost out there in that desert region. It's best if you remained here." "But, you know that I HATE waiting to see if my husband and the others are okay or not!" Alia cried to Layer. The younger blond sighed. "Alia, just keep a cool head. David will be alright. I mean, you've seen him take out Shadow multiple times each time that bastard comes back to life." "You're right Palette... but, still..." |

| Zekt smirked, just as the foot passed through his copy's immaterial face. "Eh... you'd better watch out, you know. That plasma blade IS real..." he told Zero, before taking a few steps away. "Now... I hope you get serious soon... won't be any good if you lose to that without me even landing a decent hit." | |||

| "You don't think I'm serious enough Zekt?" Zero said, a buster raised and aimed at his head from behind. He then fired several buster shots before dashing behind a large sand dune.
The Zero that the copy had locked with vanished in a puff of gray smoke. "JUST... so you know, what I used earlier before I "blocked" your copy was AntiDamage." David smirked. "That was impressive, using that Battlechip power without letting your opponent know. Sneaky indeed. AntiDamage blocks what damage Zero would of recieved, and can can appear behind an opponent, or in the sky to launch three large shurikens to damage the opponent with. Of course, an alternate way of using that ninjutsu skill which is known as Kawamiri is to get around the opponent with fast speed to launch an indirect attack, which he just did a few seconds ago..." "Similar to what Shun did when he fought with Enzan and Blues during the Den 500 on the first college year," ForteZero realized. "Heh, so Zero's sneaky. Big deal... but he keeps that up, I'm sure his ass will get kicked." Marino smacked him over the head. "Don't joke around Forte." |

| The shots struck true... but Zekt didn't even flinch as they touched him. At the same time, the other Zekt fizzled out of existance.
"Heh... about time you decided to go for the right target..." he muttered, before taking his scythes and activating them again. The real probe returned to him, hiding in a compartment. "But now, well... now I'm either gonna have to kill you, or just turn you into a lot of scrap metal, before doing the same to those other three over there." Then, he dashed towards Zero, circling the dune. |

| "That is IF you managed to scrap me," Zero taunted, launching a few buster shots once he reached around before ripping out hsi saber once more, and dashes, ready to slash.
"Damn... I guess the fight's gonna get intense now," Forte said, a hint of excitement in his voice. A flash of light illuminating from behind them got the three to turn around. "Heh... I guess the auto-recovery system's finished. Listen guys, if Zero is in deep shit, THEN we intervene, got it?" David asked, clad in his Command Armor. "Yes sir." |

| Zekt merely hopped over the shots, and air-dashed forward. "Heh... what's the fun in it being quick and short?" he asked, as he prepared to block the saber with one of his scythes. Then, he'd try to grab Zero with both scythes, once on the ground. | |||

| Zekt barely had time to stop the saber, although he was forced upwards again. He spun for several moments, before crashing onto the ground, a tad afar. "Gah... are you really trying?" he taunted, as he moved back onto a defensive stance. "If this keeps up, I'm gonna stop playing with you and just go on to one of your friends..." | |||

| He didn't stop there, as a red aura started to flare up around him. An old image of the "Zero Virus" appeared behind him as a faint phantasm.
"Zero Phantom..." he whispered, before the aura flared up, and a wave of ghostly images of Zero's old virus form dashed towards Zekt, each ready to deal in a slash before vanishing. This type of attack is hard to dodge, so the only basic way to even prepare against this is a VERY good defense... if Zekt can manage to uphold against twenty separate hits... With the other four, they were definately surprised at this outcome. |

| Zekt merely smirked and activated his defenses again, blocking the hits with his scythes. Normally, the scythes would have been destroyed, but the material they were made of was especially anti-plasma.
However, he wasn't just taking the attacks, but watching his opponent, locating it easily; as soon as Zero stopped attacking, he'd immediately grab the real version with his scythes. |

| HYPER MODE
Zero stood still as a black barrier of darkness surrounds him. It crackles with electricity as he slowly makes his transformation. Demonic wings sprouted from his back, and the helmet fins became bat wings. His fingers gained a clawed look. Long pale white hair flowed out the back of his helmet, as his torso armor morphed until it resembled Forte's Gospel Soul Armor, same with his leg armor. His wings had computer chip like designs on them, the joints a curved claw. The barrier sparked a few times before it vanished. He opened his eyes, which were now red, as he gained blood red streaks under his eyes, and floated in the air as he spread out his new apendages. Hyper Mode - Absolute Zero |

| Zero grined manicaly, as he swept his arm in front, unleashing a blast of extreamly cold wind and snow towards Zekt. Not an attack, but more like.... a taunt.
"Come get some..." He then flew high above the ground, the wind starting to pick up. |

| "Alright that's it!" Forte said, his right amr morphed into his buster.
"No... not yet..." David hissed at him. Forte only growled, but held back, "Hide what creep? The fact that Zero used to be the Zero Virus before he was reformated?" David shouted towards Zekt. Zero grinned before catching the scythe, but not without taking damage from getting scratched by one of the blades. What to do with Zekt's weapon, break it, or keep it? After weighing the obvious choices, he launched it away, and shot it with a blast of cold wind, incasing it in a chunk of solid ice. |

| Turning around again, he sighed as he saw his scythe being frozen. "You know, going psycho isn't a really good move... can make you distracted, you know." He then walked normally towards the scythe, keeping an eye on Zero. | |||

"SHUT UP ZERO!" Forte shouted. Zero ignored it as he flew down, baring the claws on his hands. Once he gets in close, he'll slash from the left, the right, then perform a roundhouse kick. |

| As he was about to strike, however, Zekt backdashed, and stared at him. "See what I mean?" he muttered, before taking a couple of steps back. He wasn't afraid, no... but he preferred distance.

| ((Let's see... it's not a Command Mission so my characters can remain in Hyper Mode for as long as possible. But normally when in Command Mission, Zero's Hyper Modes -- Black Zero and Absolute Zero -- have six Activation Rounds. Of course, if Zero took in enough damage when in Hyper Mode it would be cancled out...))
Zero only glared before he glowed brightly, and soon returned ot normal. He manually cancled off his Hyper Mode. "Well then... hand-to-hand combat then punk." Zero cracked his knuckles, giving him a toothy smirk before dashing towards Zekt, hands balled up into fists. "Old fashion combat. Zero's a classic," David said with a smile. "I say we help him," Forte said. "Shut up Forte." |
