Imor is brought forward, then immediatly sent back towards the wall. He aims his legs towards the wall and bends as soon as they touch, now pushing down gently to reduce much impact. Now he was in his perfect jumping position, He leaps from the cliff side with such force he breaks free of Mewlt's telekinetic grip. He lands hard on the other side before falling and landing on the same ground Mewlt's on.

"You are powerful indeed... But there's no need for that!" Imor charges forward aiming four very powerful and speedy stabs towards Mewlt's shoulders and thigh.

Mewlt raised an eyebrow as Imor broke free... and then, as he approached, he smiled. "Fine... so you want to play it that way?"

The pink and purple cat Pokemon awaited his foe's arrival, preparing his attack... and then, he glowed in a pale blue light as Imor struck him.

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!

Direct hits! Mewlt did not even try to dodge the attacks!... but it seemed like Mewlt's flesh was not the type which was easy to pierce through ; his skin felt like metal and his actual flesh was very dense, a pressure keeping the stabs from going very deep.

As such, Mewlt's injuries were minimal... and as Mewlt stopped receive the attacks, he pointed at Imor.

"Now... Countered!" he said, firing a massive wave of invinsible energy toward Imor that would be very hard if not impossible to avoid from such a short distance.

Thankfully, Mewlt did not know of Zerodius's and Ex's infamous Counter tech. This was the Pokemon Counter, an inferior version which did not prevent damage at all... but its principle remained the same ; absorb the enemy's attack and reflect it at double power.

This was what had happened. After receiving the damage, Mewlt was using Counter to "share" the damage with Imor... although the damage Imor would receive would be double what Mewlt suffered. Fortunately, unlike the dreaded Zerodius/Ex Counter, the amount of damage reflected is double to the damage received, not double of the maximum damage that the attack could have inflicted. As such, since Mewlt had not been seriously injured, likewise, the attack wouldn't inflict serious injury either...

---

Cherlie noticed that Mewlt's flames were slowly dying down and that he used a regular Pokemon move rather than one of his unique, Dark Power-powered techs. A good sign. He must be calming down...

Still, that Imor character was extremely powerful, it seems. She didn't know what kind of training he had received or even why a human could fight like that in the first place... but she was impressed.

Imor braces for the impact as the wave hits him. He is bashed back a bit and lets out a low grunt but his armour protects him from most of the damage. He raises his arm and a huge and powerful blast of electricity is fired from his hand directly towards Mewlt's chest. Considering the distance it should be practically impossible to dodge.

As the cat was shocked, he begun to wonder... what element was his foe? Why could he use every single type of move it seemed? Why was he so flawless and perfect? Was he some kind of uber enemy or what?!?

Mewlt recoiled backward and gathered the electricity into his hands before shooting them out of his hands and into the sky, stopping the damage. "What kind of creature are you?!? You cannot be human. Humans wouldn't be so... perfect... and they certainly wouldn't wield such a range of attacks. What are you, in reality?" he asked.

Cherlie stood there, growing worried. This foe... unless Mewlt revealed his full power, that foe was clearly superior... but then, she knew that he wouldn't do so. She knew that it was unsafe for him to unleash his power... especially in such a world, where the elements seem to flow in such a strange, unfamiliar way...

Imor had a slightly surprised expression on his face. "I am merely a human... My abilities are enhanced by a magic gem I found on my travels." He points to a small yellow embossing on his torso "I don't know what it is or where it came from, but all I know is it gives me my power over electricity and the ability to walk on walls." Still in battle mode, he drops down sweep kicking Mewlt with great speed and force. After the attack he returns to an upright position. "And what, may I ask, are you exactly?"

Mewlt wasn't going to let this human, or so he claimed he was, smack him like that.

He rose himself quickly upward, out of range of the sweep kicks and then floated there...

"Well... where I come from, a small kitty a little more than half my size happens to be the goddess of Light... that kitty is Mew, my mother. Then, the humans cloned my mother... The clone was Mewtwo, my father... and he also happens to be Darkness incarnate, the Devil Pokemon." he explained, floating there.

"I assume you don't know what Pokemon are... and personally, you do not need to know." he said, smirking...

"Actually, Pokemon are the creatures of our world. Pokemon means "Pocket Monster" since humans have invented a compression device called "Pokeball" which they use to capture and enslave our kind, using us as tools." interrupted Cherlie, rolling her eyes. Mewlt's face turned red. "HEY! That's not true!"

Cherlie crossed her arms. "It's not because you're ashamed of our world that you must lie about it! I know the reality's ugly... but don't turn away from it!"

Mewlt shrugged. "I'm busy Cherlie. Later..."

"OH NO! You're not ignoring me, you big fattie kitty!" interrupted the yellow and blue mouse once again, pointing at the pink and purple cat Pokemon. "I'M NOT FAT!" interrupted back Mewlt. The female mouse grinned and pointed at the male cat's round belly. "Really? Then I guess that it's muscle, heh? That it has nothing to do with your daily overdose of milk!"

Mewlt's face turned even more red. "I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A BATTLE!" he replied, much louder than he had intended. "HA! You fat kitty! Fattie, fattie, fattie!"

Mewlt gritted his teeth and then, had an idea. He smiled and crossed his arms, staring at her in a mean way... "Really? At least, I don't have oversized paddles for ears!"

"HEY! My ears are NOT oversized!" squeaked loudly the female mouse, upset.

Before Imor, the two Pokemon begun to argue on and on and on...

Imor sat down on the hard ground, listening to the creatures squabble to the point where they just got on his nerves. "Hey! Sorry to cause such a ruckus... Didn't mean any harm by it. Just before I get back to battle mode, just tell me this: How did you get here?"

The two suddenly stopped and turned to Imor, a bit embarassed... "Err... he DOES have a point..." stated Cherlie. "... how did we got here in the first place?"

Mewlt hovered back to the ground and scratched the back of his head. "Well... we beat the Legion, right?"

Cherlie nodded. "Yep!"

Mewlt continued. "Then, the half of mother's soul that was in you left your body and returned to mother as both you and mother returned to normal as well as everyone else."

Cherlie nodded again. "Yep!"

Mewlt crossed his arms. "Then, we sensed something weird and went to look for it."

Cherlie nodded a third time. "And it's then that we got here."

Mewlt thought for a few seconds before he came to a conclusion. "Cherlie... are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Cherlie nodded yet again. "That this weird thing was a teleportation anomaly of sorts? Exactely! Looks like we've been had!"

Mewlt sighed loudly. "Oh my... Completed a journey only to get lost in another realm..."

Cherlie approached the humanoid kitty, smiling. She placed her hand on his right leg and tried to cheer him up. "Hey! Cheer up kitty! You who whined so much about not knowing what to do once we would beat up the bad guy and save the world... well, here's your opportunity! Brand-new world, ripe for us to trek through!" Cherlie pointed to the horizon. "New skies, new people, new legends, new bad guys... a hero's true reward! A second quest!"

Mewlt turned to Cherlie, rolled his eyes, and sighed yet again. "Well... I guess you do have a point. I would have grown bored of sitting there, anyway."

The cat Pokemon hovered back in the air and turned to Imor, smiling. "Well... we don't know how we got here... Maybe it was Fate, maybe not... but well, we're here. First, let us finish that battle and then, we shall see what we shall do next..."

(ooc: Sorry for a long reply, general procrastination... Is that the correct word for putting something off?)

Since the last few minutes kind of threw Imor off a bit, he needed to regain his battle focus. While the creatures talk Imor focuses on a small rock somewhere inbetween everyone. After allowing all vision and sound out (except for his opponent's conversation), he felt much more ready for battle. He quickly regains his full consiousness. "Interesting... Your lives are pretty full then?"

Not exactly expecting any answer, Imor darts forward, sending a well aimed stab towards Mewlt's stomach.

The pink and purple cat pointed at the human, using his powers to try and form up a wall of psychic energies. While the wall wasn't physical, hopefully, it would feel very physical to Imor when he would slam into it, trying to hit Mewlt. Hopefully, this would stop the attack or at least, reduce the strenght of the incoming physical attack.

Cherlie, her, begun looking around and then, out of nowhere, took out a notepad and begun to take notes for some reason.

Imor's spear slammed straight into the wall, causing the end of it to hit him... Hard. Slightly winded he staggers back, slamming his spear in the ground for something to lean on. Imor suddenly had an idea. He charged some electricity into his staff then caused it to travel underground and attack Mewlt from below, striking from the ground upwards.

Since Cherlie was his lover, this meant that the cat's extended cat naps were interrupted in a shocking way... but it also had the advantage that after being shocked thousands of times, he had learnt to recognize and sense electricity through his psychic powers.

As such, he felt the electric impulse travelling below him and then, unleashed his powers, creating a Reflect barrier to send it back toward Imor! "No way! Only Cherlie's allowed to shock me!"

Cherlie, during this time, rose an eyebrow. For some reason, she had always been upset at people trying to shock her lil' cute kitty. She is the ONLY one allowed to do that! No but... find yourself a more original way of attacking him, jerk! But then, Cherlie sighed, reminding herself of where she was and of the situation. She knew that two sentient Pokemon were already a weird enough sight... but having a cute little mouse Pokemon being the mate of a huge psychic cat Pokemon twice her size? Unbelievable!

Imor wasn't worried. He was immune to any form of electrical attack. He allowed the electricity to flow through him, then he channeled it through to his hand, where his spear re-forms. Now Imor felt like he was in a bit of trouble. As literally his only attacks are using weapons or using electricity, and Mewlt could defend against them pretty easily, it made life for him much harder than he had hoped.

He moved towards Mewlt, this time a bit slower than before and much more ready for any more barriers. He charged towards Mewlt in the same manner as before.

Mewlt smiled as the human charged foward. He had started to recognize a pattern in his foe's attacks... and he thinks he knows how he can deal a decisive blow!

Mewlt blasted himself with psychic powers, sending him flying upward, hopefully avoiding a physical attack from his opponent. He stopped at a rather considerable height, about five or six times the height of his opponent ; if he wanted to reach him, he would need some kind of way to send himself upward... that or his name is Mario and he got uber jumping skills... or maybe abilities of flight.

Out of the way, Mewlt concentrated, trying to remember about the particuliar move he wanted to use...

Cherlie stood there, watching the battle closely...

Did Mewlt forget that Imor had already been bettering Mario's jumping skills by miles? Imor jumped at the wall to the same height as Mewlt, then waits there crouching. He begins to gather some energy, trying to think of other attacks he could do.

Mewlt opened his eyes and felt VERY bothered to see that human jump that high!

"What's wrong with you?!? Humans can't jump that high?!? But what the Dark Vortex are you?!?" he blasted himself again, now being REALLY high. NOW, that moron couldn't possibly reach him, isn't it?

From up there, Mewlt closed his eyes. He had to try and remember the move from the beginning, now... and the fact that he was now really high also required him to cncentrate on staying up there, which didn't help at all.

During this time, Cherlie looked around... It was obvious that Mewlt was quickly losing patience... and she wondered about which way she should use to calm him should things go awry... and seeing how that human has such unnatural abilities, things WILL go awry.

"You're right, humans can't jump this high... Not normally anyway. Have I not shown you the reason why I get such unhuman abilities yet? The magic crystal in my armour..." Imor continues to gather energy, still unsure of what to do. It appeared Mewlt was testing Imor's jumping abilities as he blasted much further upward. Imor sprang off the wall as hard as he possibly could, trying to get as close as possible to Mewlt's height. He almost managed it, but was still a good few metres too low. He landed hard on the rocks below, causing a large crack to form around him. "Damn!" he thought, knowing he had damaged the area pretty badly. "I guess I can't get that high!" He shouted up to Mewlt. He went back to his crouching position and began to put all the energy he had gathered into an orb.

Now that he was safe, Mewlt smiled. "Well well well... looks like your crystal's powers has reached its limits... and it is unfortunate that it seems like you cannot land softly after such a jump... although it is to be expected."

Mewlt begun to remember... and at this moment, he smiled. Yes... most definitely! This is the move he wanted to remember! Now, all he needs is for the foe to attack him...

During this time, Cherlie walked around, noticiing the damage. Well, it's unfortunate... but well, it was to be expected. It could have been way worse. Cracks aren't nearly as bad as, say, a cratter.

Imor just smiled. "I'm afraid you have been neglecting the fact I have been charging something for quite some time now..." The orb he had made exploded near him, surrounding him in electrical energy. He made a quick test to make sure it worked, and ran up and down the arena in the blink of an eye. "Yup it worked..."

He had basically turned into a living lightning bolt, and that moves very far very quickly. He ran at and up the wall, using the momentum to jump up at Mewlt. Now he could easily make it that high and so much further. He managed to throw six throwing stars and slashed at Mewlt ten times with his spear blade before landing very softly on the ground. Lightning doesn't really weight much at all... No more cracks!

"GOTCHA!" thought Mewlt as he saw Imor jump toward him in the shape of a electrical being.

As Imor got close, the cat Pokemon unleashed his Shadow Aura, gathering the annoyance and pain he had supressed earlier into his mind, causing the purple flames to errupt from Mewlt's frame!... and then, mixing it to his psychic powers, formed an improved version of Mirror Coat.

As Imor flew toward him, he unleashed the tech, forming a shield. The six stars passed right through, finding flesh, or more exactely, his "chest armor". With a slight psychic surge, he pulled the stars out of him and dropped them.

... then, as the enemy got close, Mewlt grinned despite the pain. All ten slashes passed through the shield and strucked Mewlt... but it was intended. Since it was augmented by his Dark Power, the Mirror Coat prevented the damage from really being too major while for every single strike that connected, Imor would feel pain as he received double the damage for every strike. The damage was non-elemental and as such, would affect him even in his non-material state.

Cherlie, down on the ground, was a bit worried. She hated it when Mewlt used risky strategies like this...
