| Sometimes what's left to the imagination is far more vivid than what's shown. When you actually have real people, you can pretty much see all of it... anime tends to be at least somewhat stylized, allowing you to look at things from your own viewpoint, which would theoretically allow it to be more intense.
Of course, there's also the fact that the stylization makes it more unique. It's not like real women vary in between each other as much as the difference is between a real woman and an anime one. Of course, there's also the fact that anime is obviously not the same as reality; often enough, things become more interesting because they're DIFFERENT. ...Replace all gender references with the opposite, if you wish, so I don't seem bigoted. |
