Free Press uncovers evidence of ballot tampering in Warren County,

Ohio

April 19, 2006

After locking out all media observers and declaring a Level 10 Homeland Security Alert, the Republican-dominated Warren County, Ohio reported the vote tally in the wee hours of the morning on November 3, 2004 -- and gave George W. Bush a surprising 14,000 vote boost. Two election workers told the Free Press that the ballots had been diverted to an unauthorized warehouse where they had been possibly stuffed. That is, punched for Bush only. Maps were supplied to the Free Press showing the locations of the warehouse and the Board of Elections.

Warren County officials refused to allow the Columbus Institute for Contemporary Journalism to handle the ballots, but they did allow us to photograph a few. Richard Hayes Phillips, Ph.D., has analyzed the ballots for the Free Press and concluded that there is evidence of fraud in Warren County. The ballots as photographed with Dr. Phillips' commentary below each ballot are included here for the first time.

The Free Press predicted early on that the ballots would be found punched only for Bush in Warren County. The Moss v. Bush lawsuit pointed to Warren, Butler and Clermont Counties as the three counties that provided more than Bush's entire margin in the Buckeye State: Bush won Ohio by 118,000, and 132,000 votes were supplied in these three southwestern Republican counties.

Now, for the first time, the Free Press is releasing images of the obvious election fraud in Warren County. The Free Press will continue its ongoing investigation in Ohio despite stonewalling by Republican state officials. See the images by clicking on the link below.

For a moment, I thought the Free Press was a fake. But they seem to be genuine, and I'm hoping this is true. I'd like to see an impeachment.

and people really need to get over the fact that he won the election.

less than 2 years and you can have another chance to have a democrat try and run the country....

until then give it up with the "Impeach Bush cause...."

People compared Bill to JFK, and my response to that is that Kennedy at least had good taste. I mean, seriously, infidelity is wrong, but if you're going to do it, Marilyn Monroe seems a good choice, not some frumpy intern...

There are a number of factual inconsistencies and, as usual, misleading statements in that, such as suggesting that all 14,000 reported ballots in that district were invalid...they said it was a strongly Republican area...he probably would've gotten a similar boost anyway, EVEN IF these dubious reports are to be believed. I get a bit suspicious of things that take this long to come out, with, again, dubious and biased sources.

I don't understand the obsession with impeaching bush. It's only happened twice before, and even though I consider myself to be a whole lot more liberal than most, I don't think he should be impeached. If he were to be impeached because of this someone would have to find a link that bush told them to stuff the ballot. Just because some people stuffed ballots to help the man they wanted to win an election win (and I highly doubt that happened, but even if it did) doesn't mean bush will get punished for it.

OK, Bill was horrible, Bush is horrible. They're all horrible. They all need to get impeached. The only bad thing about Bill's impeachment was that he didn't get thrown out and the worst thing about Bush is that he hasn't been impeached and thrown out yet. They all need to get shaken up and everything.

An impeachment should be held on better grounds than a blow job or having a failing war. If more comes out about Bush's actions (the Plame affair and stuff like that are disturbing) before his term is over then impeachment should be considered. However, he is just being a bad president.

No, Clinton was impeached for purjury. He lied about the situation with Monica Lewinski, which was later proven to be true.

I think this is where I express contempt for the crazy American electoral system and their tendency to misplace ballots or be open to abuse. This specific incident may or may not have happened, but when you have federal elections being run at a state or county level instead of centrally, you KNOW there's going to be fuckups and fraud happening somewhere.

It was brought into court because of a sexual harasment suit. Employers, or anyone seen to be in a more powerful possition, can be tried for sexual harasement for having relations with their subordinates. It's the state of the world we live in. The fact is, when he was being questioned (under oath), he decided to lie instead of telling the truth. Purjury is grounds for impeachment, and impeachment does not necessarily result in expulsion from office. The situation for which he committed purjury was not one of enough consequence to merrit removal from office, just a mark of shame from impeachment.
