Speaking of mishaps with explosives, my Social Studies teacher last year told stories about how he was (and still is) prone to blowing a lot of things up. He said he once blew a huge hole in the wall at the age of nine (or so) while his parents where away, and almost destroyed his neighbours' barbeque. Has anyone ever heard of Blockland? It's an online Lego-type game. It's pretty fun. I stayed up until 3:00 AM playing.  I did manage to build this, though:

| oooh legos...
I'll have to check it out when I get home. I don't build with my actual legos anymore. I took them all out of my lego drawer and sorted them by color and type and put them into clear tackleboxes. Now they're so organized it's destroyed my creativity. I'm tempted to keep a few smaller bits out and dump the rest back together. Now I mostly only use legos as frame material or joints for Transformers kitbashes. |

| BLARGG! I just went onto a Swedish server (Swedish Blockland) and started building a giant tower to the sky with the help of three other people. Then some jerk named "my name" destroyed everything in there just because it was "fun" and it was "Swedish". When asked why he was bothering us, he said something along the lines of "anything to hinder the progress of your tower will make me happy".
He even destroyed one of my best friends stairway to heaven, which took two hours to make!

It was just a bunch of explosive powder that had gotten in my fingernails. Since I had just eaten dessert, I assumed dark chocolate had somehow gotten in there. It was pretty much tasteless, so no, no taste brought it to my attention, either. It took me awhile to put two and two together and realize what it was. So yeah, it wasn't a lot; maybe about a teaspoon's worth. Did I mention you guys suck? |
