| Tropical storm Alberto was overrated. Everyone was blowing it WAY out of proportion. Heck, we go through worse thunderstorms than what Alberto did. A ten minute power outage all day. A few times the power flickered, but it was because of wind. Sunday we went a few hours without power and it was NOT from Alberto. In fact, it was from a random thunderstorm which knocked a tree over. No trees knocked over from this.
If this is how the rest of the hurricane season is going to be, yay! I'm prepared either way. A DS and a laptop with emulators. I'm set. |

| Pah. Alberto barely did anything here. It drizzled the entire day, and that's it. No heavy rain, no thunder, and barely any wind. The only time our power went out was today when a construction knocked out a transformer for a few seconds. | |||

I think that maybe some of the super hurricanes (like Katrina) are going to make tropical storms look like a walk in the park.

| Actually, now that he mentions it, I do think I remember Shyguy saying there was something wrong... I thought it was in Officer's, but I just found a bunch of stuff dealing with him being depressed and having trouble with his mother (Was that ever resolved?)...
I still don't have any sympathy for the kid's header/footer. I know he's probably not stupid, but... it was still a stupid header/footer. Although, to be fair, I'd probably have used one like it at some point. Random characters are kinda fun... I also still believe that odds are he won't post. |
