Eh, I haven't really played any of the MMBN's much. I do know that in MMBN3, after my brother beat it, he let me play and I set out to collect as many Guard1 A's as I possibly could. Got to around 60 before my brother put them in a chip trader.

I must admit, my favorite viruses are the guardian-type viruses that reside in the secret levels, such as the ones that count down to zero and explode repeatedly from the WWW comp, and the crystal-looking tree things that had to be killed in order/simultaneously.

That, and Yort.

these one are evil, if you don't have something to defeat them all in one hit, they'll totally pwn you, and you can't even run away from them

I guess my favorite virus are the one in my custom title

You SERIOUSLY need to learn to use chips with the same code. Or fill your folder with *-coded ones. One or the other. Since otherwise, you're kinda... limited.

I rather like... what do I like? Not too sure. The bunny things that hop around (It's been a while.) and then turn to metal and crack one of your tiles are kinda cool. So are the ones that throw Meteor9 (or 12) at you.

I know the ones that dropped from the sky were called "Floppy" or something, and the bunnies were just called "Bunny". I forget what the meteor guys were called since there were several kinds...

Edit: lol Yort

I forgot about that aspect. I just know the game doesn't play exactly like the anime where you could just about essentially send anything you want. I have an assortment of chips with very little overlap except for those program advances opportunities.

I remember one time my brother made a folder with all chips the same letter (or *). Mostly swords, in fact.

He also had a folder based around GutsSoul, Vulcans, and Attack +30 chips.

I've played MMBN3, 4, and 5, and I hardly did anything with chip folders
I could pretty much care less what I'm fighting the viruses with.

Or Gameshark for infinite Dark Chips (BN4 and 5)

Actually, one time while fiddling around with the the Navi Customizer I found the perfect glitch settings. It was a while ago, so I forgot what it was, but I think it gave me air shoes and the shield as a buster shot. I killed so many Mettaurs with that. I think the fastest was around 5 seconds, maybe less.

Edit: Oh, and charge shot was RockCube.

I'm more of a fan of the Elemental Breaths from MMBN4. Especially the Grass+Heat combo. Instant pwnage.

They're pretty easy to find in * codes, so I had a set of three of each.

Vulcans are hideously overpowered. Anyone remember Silver Bullet?

I despise Vulcans, actually. One time I netbattled my brother (using friend's game) and he killed me almost instantly when he fused with GutsSoul and used at least 3 vulcans. Not fun.

Silver Bullet? Not ringing a bell.

IIRC, Silver Bullet was a combo that went like this:

SuperVulcan + DoublePoint + ColorPoint + Attack30 + Attack10 =
140 dmg/shot

For a grand total of 1,680 damage without FullSynchro.

...dang. Good thing my brother didn't know about that. He used AreaGrab and ColorPoint, but not all of those at the same time.

Never was a huge fan of DarkChips. I don't like losing life permanently.

(I did however cheat for the Bass chips occasionally. Never got that far in the actual game, and I never used them when I was playing seriously, but... c'mon, Hell's Rolling from the BassAnly (Forte Another) chip was cool.)

Back in the second one I ran a G-folder (GtsShoot, but then I shifted it to Gater, which is STILL G-coded). The third one I think I ran B-codes...The fourth one I ran crap (it was the first one I really played through, so I wasn't very good at it). The fifth one I run S-codes. Doesn't work too well when I'm playing... well... anyone besides Megaman.

ooh...looks like an interesting game--one question: if this game is about golf, why is there a guy holding a tennis racket on the download page?
