That's why we got DSL as soon as possible. I kept hogging the phone line all night and my connection would cut off whenever someone picked up a phone. 
Yay for technology that doesn't have those drawbacks. |

| At home, we use Comcast cable internet. They've increased the data transfer rate so many times, but I rarely actually see any improvement. Plus, my upload rate probably is crap.
At school, we have a huge network we connect to. Each semester, we have to run a security scanner thingy which makes sure that we have the proper antivirus software (Symantec Antivirus Corporate) installed, and stuff. Though, the first time I ran it, it locked windows update to the "automatically download and install everything without my consent" setting, which I *hate*, but working some magic with gpedit.msc undid that lockout.  I like my setting to be "notify me when downloads are available, but don't download or install them". |

Hey, Darkdata, do you happen to know all of the 4-letter acronyms for all the Zelda games for that thing you linked to? I only know LTTP, but what about LA, the Oracles, or even TMC? I want to try to use LA or OoA for that thing.  |

I was slightly annoyed by those who were happy, because it meant "Yay sustitute lets be so mean, and get out of our assigned seats!" 
Though most of them failed to understand this meant twice as much homework was expected next time. |

1. It's snowing here in New Mexico... Again for the 5th time in the last 3 months. (The record was broken twice in December, and I finally had to use that old snow shovel...) 2. One of my former teacher was caught looking at porn at school during lunch. (He was a nice guy too...) 3. I saw somebody ignore a hobo that clearly lost an arm, and then he got outraged because he saw a cat out in the streets. (Seriously... The hobo is in worse shape than the cat.) "WTF" at the world, and "lol" at teh internet! (Where can we go now?) |
