I believe Alastor/Dalek was talking about those illegal fireworks you see now and then. I don't know any offhand, but I know some exist.

And pikaguy900 meant that they are illegal in Gerogia, like a state law or something.

So in a way, you doubt correctly.

I believe they are only illegal if you get them from Alabama (they're sold legally there, but it's against the law to buy fireworks in Alabama and take them back to Georgia. Then again, you DO see fireworks and the like being sold in stores across Georgia around the 4th of July, so I guess they're only illegal if you buy them in another state and bring them here. Or maybe it's that it's illegal to fire off fireworks after buying them in another state. I don't remember. XD).

There are legal fireworks, and there are illegal fireworks. Legal, such as piccolo petes, and illegal, such as roman candles and firecrackers. But it also depends on where you live... in my city, fireworks of any kind whatsoever are illegal, but in nearby cities you can use the legal ones.

Could you answer this for me: What's the difference between a Roman Candle and a firecracker? I always thought that they were the same thing...

Firecrackers are the little things that sort of resemble candles. You light them and they make a cracking sound when they explode. It's really loud. D:

Roman candles shoot out a series of bright fireworks so that it resembles a candle before it actually goes flying up (or whatever direction you point it). They're fun <3

Reminds me of the stories some of my friends tell me of their roman candle fights (Where they actually launched roman candles at eachother)

In Oregon, due to the large amount of forest areas, roman candles and the like are a fire hazard and are banned. That doesn't stop people from using them, though.

I don't know about my town, but over at my grandma's beach house, all kinds of fireworks are allowed. Probably because sand isn't flammable.

One time I made a little flying saucer out of sand (think the Kirby kind) and my brother put in three or four fire crackers and lit them simultaneously. It wasn't my idea.

3 PM - Wake up.
3:30 PM - Snack or breakfast. Not a big eater in the morning.
3:45 PM - Computer. Very long stay on it. Mostly on Wiki, Acmlm's Board, Blockland, Star Wars: Galaxies, WoW, Empire at War, IRC, MSN, AOL, etc.
5 PM - Probably the time I go to the bathroom for one of the two times a day. Meh.
5:03 PM - I'm probably back on the computer on Wiki, IRC, MSN, or AOL. I get bored of games after a while. Heh.
9 PM - Heh, about time for my "Lunch". I always snack on Ramon noodles, or warm-up a hotpocket.
9:15 PM - More computer.
8 AM - I get tired and go to sleep the next morning until around 3 again.

Playing Sonic Heroes, YIDS, waiting for a wi-fi so I can get on the internet with my new laptop, and... AWAITING THE DAY I FINALLY GET A WII. (I still get mad when people keep talking about TP in public WITHOUT SPOILER TAGS and spoil the game. They'll even put spoilers IN THREAD TITLES! Me, I don't even want it- I only want the system so I can play Wario's Woods on it. Heeheehee! Well, until next month, when Super Mario Galaxy is supposed to come out, along with SSBB and MP3... ) I got very few presents this year. Only 2 video games, 2 board games (Monopoly Here & Now and Yahtzee Turbo), and a laptop. And that's IT. Oh, and the usual Christmas money totalling $100.

As for tomorrow, I'm probably going to go to sleep earlier than usual. Loud fireworks will most likely be shot off tomorrow night, thus keeping me up ALL NIGHT.

Some people couldn't even find the thing, and Yahoo.com is predicting ANOTHER Wii shortage NEXT year, so no, not everyone is "basically" playing Wii. I'm SO jealous right now.

Edit: I took out some of my post. I felt that the parts I took out were a WEE bit rude, so I took them out! SIMLES, PEOPLE!

??? Why? Is that sarcasm, or what? Let me guess- You think it's such a bad game, huh? So far, I actually like it, but I hate the title screen music.

Meh, I not going to do anything special for New Year's Eve. I'll probably just hang out here or play Twilight Princess.

I never found New Year's Day amazing. The way I see it, the new year is going to feel the same way as the other years.

I completely agree, nobody would notice the difference if it was moved back a day in everyone's calendar, so I doubt it is really worth celebrating. However, if friends want to hang out because they like it, I'm all up for that. This year though, it seems it is going to be boring.
