A good amount of spam is intent on selling you stuff, though. I suspect most of the "stupid" spam is sent by people who aren't exactly fans of you (and with the state of the board, some of them are bound to come from here). If they're foolish enough to use their real email address, you could probably make them pay if you really wanted to.

I understood that, I am just wondering if posting your emails on your profile is good idea, because it's obvious the 3 SPAMs I got (About Acmlm being evil) were because they knew my email by looking at my board's profile (The mail was sent to tons of other Acmlm's members adresses as well).

It has been some time since the last 'body enlargement' spam appeared in my inbox.

I still get the odd ball emails about stupid stuff. Insurance, or advertisment over some new miracle product.

I'm still trying to figure out why the University of Iowa doesn't celebrate Columbus Day. I had class, yet my friend across the river in Illinois did not. I think it's an Iowa thing and they decided not to observe the holiday...

That's not too bad.

Surprisingly, even though it was Thanksgiving, a lot of stores were open today. I think Christmas is one of the few "99% of places close" days left.

Funny thing about today (I might mention I am Canadian, so it was Thanksgiving). I turned on a certain channel on my TV today. and saw a parody of the Yule Log. It was similar to it in nature, except with a turkey roasting in slow-motion and corny music. It ended after about an hour. That was one of those things that seriously made me go "what the hell?"

It wasn't. It was on a channel that typically shows information, such as temperature and stocks. I am unsure who owns it, but it is probably the local government. It also gives footage of what's happening at a bridge in the city, and it does so 24-7. Except, you know, in instances like this. So it's no big loss. Although still, I wonder who the hell thought that up, and who would accept a thing like that.

Patience young one. It will come soon enough.

Plus, even though I have a long weekend, I will spend a good portion of it studying, doing assignments and researching for oral presentations.

The weekend that just passed was probably the last stress free one until November, if even that.

Atleast my last day of class is Nov 30.
