I never saw any problems with Lizardking's layout. But eh, if it was causing problems for some, then that's enough to have it removed.

But yeah. YD and Danielle agree, so therefore our way is the winning way no matter what. COLLAPSED PAGES FTW.

The new paginating system wins more because it saves space on the main forum page while still giving you access to any page once you open the thread. Most forums I've seen keep the collapsed thread numbering inside the thread as well as outside it, making jumping to a specific page difficult or impossible.

I don't even have a layout. All I have is a quote in my signature. I don't see how that could be causing any problems.

And I don't understand how I broke the thread. I mean, I'm fairly certain I wrote the comment tags correctly, and the post and the thread looked fine to me (and Colin also, apparently.)

Well, you know, you're wrong.

I had to manually enter the blocklayout URL for you, since your bio is equally screwed up and I can't get through it.

Proof.

You broke every thread you posted in until I blocked that layout. Thank god you killed it

Is his bio still screwed up? Because I checked and it looks fine.

Now, if you're still having problems with it, then it's YOUR problem.

So, all you Megaman players out there, I noticed something cool today.

In the first Megaman X, when you get the Hadoken powerup, the Dr. Light hologram is dressed as Ryu. I thought that was pretty neat. I have no idea how I missed it until now.

How could you have missed that?

The Hadoken is a great power-up but it's... um... quite a cheap move.

The bio is fine. I got Dani to fix it.

In my defense, I didn't grab the powerup that often, and this was the first time I've played the first X in years (I got the X Collection not long ago; even considering I already own 1, 2 and 4 on their original systems, getting the other 3 games for $20 new is too good to pass up).

Ah, well that's fair enough. I noticed it right away... well, when I looked at the screenshots in Nintendo Power. Still noticed though.

The only problem with his bio was a little error in the comment tags, which FF and Safari had no problem with. IE and Opera didn't like it. I checked his bio and found the problem, fixed it, voila.

I never saw a problem with any of his posts though.

Ah, of course. Had to be an Opera problem.

(Then again, as long as your layout checks out in FF and IE it should be fine.)

When I try making a layout, I make sure it works perfectly in FF and Opera. Sure, I'll check it in IE, too, but it's not my priority to get it working in IE... Especially since I'm not too great with HTML.

I use the most basic HTML possible, so as to avoid problems. CSS I may use, but I don't think I do. Anyway, my HTML dates back long before lololol existed and such, so I'd hope they would have similar compatibility now.

Well, the truth is I stole the code of my layout from some site, that used a background image and justified text.

Aw.

Eh... IE and FF should be the two primary checks for any layout just because they're the top two market-share wise. Anything else is just gravy.

Don't break it in Opera, break it in IE instead! ;
