I always took Intro to Computer courses whenever I could. Not the most exciting classes but fairly easy to get a high mark in. Pad the average.

It wasn't so I can get an easy grade, though. It was so I could learn Flash.

Unfortunatly, I can't. Only Web Design 2 students can learn Flash, which makes me wonder why they stuck me in Auto 2 in 10th grade and Leadership last year. I even requested personally that I wantedneeded the first classes so I could do the second classes.

And Digital Design 2 is doing our yearbook. When an actual Digital Design 2 student comes and tells me that I should have been in that class because I know more than half of those students, it makes me wonder why they screwed me over.

But then again, my school screws over all those in the Honors/AP classes. Physics and AP Calculus are in 1st period, and they go hand in hand. Thing is... uh... you can only take one or the other...

See, he said he was going to take me off 5 points for that disco page.

I could add more flashing lights. And make them brighter. And find a copy of stayin' alive for it.

...

oh god what a wonderful idea

...Take OFF 5 points?

Let me talk to this teacher, I'm going to give him hell for not recognizing creativity.

PE is the best way to do that.

PE is not the best way to do that if you're not athletic. I got OK marks in PE but nothing that, you know, would boost my average significantly.

I always got an A in PE, but it wasn't really a breeze. On the 1 and 2 mile runs, you had to finish within a certain time to get an A. Two minutes past the time would get you a C, and 5+ got you an F. So if you didn't actually run the laps... you didn't get an A on the runs. And if you don't pass enough of the runs, you're screwed. You also get graded for participation here, which means actually playing the sports/doing the situps/whatever. Meh. I never liked PE.

That is the worst grading system ever... I used to have it.

Now that i'm in high school, we're graded on effort alone. So, if you take two hours to complete the course, but are putting your all into it, you still get an "A".

Are you sure? I mean I wouldn't have said it a third time if it weren't for the fact that people posted right after me about things which are clearly less pathetic.

Why do you think everyone is trying to top your post?

Perhaps they're commenting about how their own PE experiences were, because that's what one does on a message board. It's not a competition.

Ah, the good ol' days of Middle School PE. All we did was play Dodgeball...

...with super-foamy balls.

They hurt if you were hit point blank, but I hardly had that problem. I was the last one on my team everytime I was on the losing team.

I miss those days...

Easy, yes. But fun? Yes.

Its funny to get two huge teams and play that way. Our games of dodgeball went from one side of the gym to the other and for each team was about 35 or so on a team.

Although what's even more challenging is playing the variations of the game I played. One was like dodgeball, but there were three bowling pins and each team had to knock all three of them down. When one was knocked down, everyone out got back in.

What sucked was that there were people who stood in the back and just wanted to talk, so when they got a ball, they just passed it off without trying. Needless to say, they almost failed the class because of lack of participation...

OH! There was this one variation. A mix between Basketball and Dodgeball. There were four corners, two for each team, and you could not get into the middle ground unless you had a basketball. You had to make hoops in the opposing teams basket without getting hit with dodgeballs.
THAT was actually hard...
