So, how good was it? I've heard nothing but "it was good" and "being there with all the fans made it awesome" out of people. Just how good was it? Go into detail.

That's kind of the point. Ever heard the expression "so bad, it's good?" Well, in the beginning when it was first discovered, it was seen as a movie so bad, it would be good. Soon, the less intelligent (nerds) began discovering it, and it developed a cult following. The director realized this and actually tried to make it good. Apparantly, their efforts may have paid off, but it's more likely that the film is going to become a cult classic.

It was like, the ultimate B-Movie. The execution was surprisingly good, but the atmosphere was what you go for in a film like that, and it was just freaking fantastic. I did my damnedest to contribute, too; like I said in the thread in Entertainment/whatever, I threw gummi worms and red vines during snake attack sequences. (I got this idea from the theater managers, who suggested it. I'm amazed I was the only one who actually did so.)

Edit: asdf you apparently have it all wrong. You must now go watch this movie to see how it really is. It's just so brilliant.

Last I checked it was at 65% on rottentomatoes.com, which is... a lot higher than I expected, actually. XD Consensus seems to be that it's a silly movie but something that lives up to the internet hype, so it ends up being perfectly acceptable crap.

It was much higher earlier today; around 89%. Around the middle of the day, it was about 74%. Something along the lines of that.

Pirate? I could do that.

That's because more reviews will keep trickling through during the weekend.

Our paper hasn't even done a review yet; they promised it tomorrow. :\

I got to send one of those Snakes on a Plane phone call things to a friend and myself. It scared my friend. He actually thought Samuel L. Jackson was calling him.

Of course, we also convinced his sister rabbits lay eggs.

Yeah, that SoaP phone call was really authentic-sounding, I loved it Unfortunately it wasn't really appropriate to send to anyone, seeing as I saw it with my family.

Peardian's friend thought it was him. Though, it's like, why would Samuel L. Jackson call YOU? I'm pretty much your lolwtf132 random, he'd never call me

Also, I want to see it, but I made a bet with my dad that involves manual labor, so it might not happen for a while

Paper reviewed it today... four stars out of five.

Needless to say, I was quite stunned at THAT high of a rating.
