| So it seems more and more clear that the curse of the ATS threads is very real. For one reason or another, it seems, all of them just sort of end before hitting 5000. And this last one came so close, and people were already marvelling at it. But it seems that was too soon.
May this thread have better fortune than the last one! |

| In case anyone is wondering. This is the new town square that was trashed yesterday because we all assumed that the previous one was deleted and would never reach 5k.

| Congratulations Zachio and Dragon Master. Dragon Master has joined me in the Winner's Circle, and Zachio joined knuck in the Second Place Aisle. Ha ha, Zachio is now associated with knuck. However, Dragon Master doesn't get to be nearly as cool as I am, as though he won, he did so in a particularly uncool fashion with no climacticness. He just walked in and posted.
Also what the hell at the old thread's title. | Eh, I think they're both valuable. The one has more inherent arbitrary value (and yes, I'm aware of the contradiction there, but I hope my point is clear)...but the 5000th reply gets the visible big round number (since threads have their number of REPLIES shown). |
