[Here is a working attatchment of the latest Donkey Kong hack]

UPDATED 4-20

* Added a new animation for when Mario falls

* Improved colors to match originals within the pallete sharing restrictions

* Changed floor detail so I could include the Red Beams from Donkey Kong 1.

* Changed the fireballs into small flies

* Changed Stanley's graphics from "asking for money", to "shooting his gas"

* changed lava and splash graphics

* fixed the placing of the item graphics and DK's head

* Fixed the problems with the Text dissapearing

* Stanley now stands on a DK jr. platform during the bonus round

patch it to "Nut and Milk (J).nes"

His original post now says DELETE ME, so probably this one. He could have replied to the other one though with the update (update? I don't know, he deleted the other one). It makes things easier for everyone if you keep all your information and updates in the same thread you started about the subject. Multiple threads about the exact same thing just serves to confuse and/or annoy people.

If you update your hack 4 times a day, then create a thread each time, you will find the feedback you are looking for scattered, or people will be confused and not post their feedback at all.

Other than that, nice work, it's good to see one of my favorites get an update of any kind.

I like the new update now, it looks way better than his other hack. It's too bad that the same sprite sheet is shared, Wario woulda look better with his evil eye & pointy ears.

This one is fine, the other one was a mistake.

I'll take any questions or comments in this thread.
I also didnt know how to add anotehr attatchment in the old thread.

I still need help editing the levels. I can change the level one data and "current" level data in the NES memory but as son as it refreshes, it disappears.

$C0A7:9D 00 05 STA $0500,X @ $0560 = #$01
$C0AA:E8 INX
$C0AB0 F7 BNE $C0A4
$C0AD:4C AB C1 JMP $C1AB

this is the code when the game first starts, it is putting the value #$01 (bridge block) into the address $0560 (upper left corner space)

does anybody have any an idea how to change the 01

absolutely, hey! if I ever get the level editing to work, I'll have to add that one.

In fact, there are 50 levels. Anybody who posts a pic like this, I'll add their level to the "Custom Level Edition".

This is a really enjoyable hack! I know its just Nuts n Milk, but the graphics blend together so seamlessly that it feels like a new game. I'm looking forward to your next project.

Okay everyone, I found the data that allows me to edit my own boards. So now would be the time to submit a picture of your own creations, if you want me to place one of your levels in the "Custom Level Edition".
