Samus stammered at this anamoly. And yet, as soon as it had appeared, it seemed... It vanished just as fast. She's seen weird shit before. But this topped it all. The voice, too, concerned her, but she thought it was just her imagination and passed it off as such. Regaining her senses, she contacted Adam.

OFF: Since Teundusia seems to be MIA as well... his characters, like Cruxadon's, shall now be NPCs until they return to the RP.

As such, I shall now resume.

-Ex Lighttheart-

The inside of the research center was quiet, as usual. Only a few humans and maybwe one or two semi-animalistic humanoid creatures wandered the place.

On this world, there was such a thing as half-humans... and yet, although there seemed to be half-humans of almost all species, none were remotely similar to Ex Lightheart. In fact... her DNA structure was very different from all local creatures. She was something else... what exactely was a total mystery.

On the way to the command room, nothing unusual happened. A few robots analysed the structure's walls and tried to repair some wires, a small mouse-shaped robot scampered its way through the halls trying to keep unwelcome animals out of the structure, and a human and two humanoids spoke of the weather. Nothing to really write home about.

Ex came upon the familiar sight of the large double door leading to the command center. As the door's two plates slided out of the way, she was greeted by the sight of the command center and the massive computers of the Hunters. Although most of them no longer worked, the mainframe had survived thanks to its bio-mechanical componements. The small computers born of the local technology lied on top of the massive, forgotten consoles, connected to the mainframe and constantly processsing its data, trying to decypher the secrets of the ancient super advanced specie...

Dr.Love sat down in front of his small computer, in the middle of the room, as usual .As his adoptive daughter entered the room, the human turned toward her and smiled. He gestured to her. "Come closer! I have something to show you! I think we came one step closer to discovering the secrets of the Hunters!"

-Zero-

A few of those zombies bit into Zero's boots, much to his discomfort. Although they were mostly decayed, their teeth was sure more than sufficiently intact to scratch his armor and what they lacked in structural integrity they made up in sheer strength. It seemed that with them undead, there no longer was a limit to the amount of pressure they could put in their bites.

As such, the painful sound of metal being crushed and pierced through was heard as five zombies bit at Zero's boots, making a dent into his armor that was more than deep enough to actually damage his systems a little bit!

Fortunately for him, it seemed that unforseen help had arrived. Shrieking through the air, the Aztec Falcon dived from above and grabbed into Zero! It then took off, pulling him out of reach of the abominations... although the four zombies who bit into him clung to him with all of their unnatural strength. Still, after smacking them with his saber, they fell back in the ocean of bodies.

It looks like Zero has a breather... although it is not sure for how long or if it is truly for the better for he should know by now that this is a robot ship owned by none other than his enemy, Harpuia, the new leader of Neo Arcadia...

(Lemurian)

Harpuia flew through the zombified Pantheons as if they didn't exist and most appropriately, they seemed to try and hop in vain, trying to reach the Aztec Falcon and its cargo, rather than trying to face the green reploid that was dashing through them.

The distant figure, noticing the events, disappeared from the top of the hill it was standing on... and instead, appeared in the distance, approaching the zombie-infested field! Looks like whoever was behind this isn't happy!

Kamek and all of the other sinister figures laughed as Troy launched his attack. The beams of light collided against a shielding of sorts and were absorbed, dealing absolutely no damage either to Kamek or the pillar or anyone for the matter.

The Soul Forge in the middle retracted back under the floor and the shadows came into view...

Hidden in suits of black armor, wielding strange weapons he had never seen before, the figures stared at Troy with their empty eyes... and at this moment, Troy would feel it... a corrupted, twisted aura. The three creatures' weapons were truly strange... long, triangular swords with a fleshy center, many eyes covering the flesh and one big one located on the handle. Those unknown blades had an aura similar to his Keyblade and yet... there was a feeling of corruption in those auras... and judging from these auras, these blades were every bit as powerful as his Keyblade which was a big feat, considering how powerful a Keyblade is...

"If you think you were the only one with such a destiny that we met... then you are mistaken. All the others like you we met joined us... may it be by force or of their own free will. We want you to be one of us... and one of us, you shall be!" replied Kamek in a harsh tone before pointing at Troy. "Now... let us see what you TRULY are made of... Attack!"

(Clockworkz)

Adam scanned the area... and sadly, he found out that the map was "fluctuating", the layout, and Samus's position, constantly changing on its own. This confusing data was of no use. Maybe if it could connect to the ship's computer... but then, what if it drawn him into the anomaly?

But then, he was already in contact with it. It was most likely he was already in it and finding out the most direct route to the core had top priority. Adam established the connection with the ship and at this moment, the scanning data stopped fluctuating. Although this was strange, he decided to still download the map from the ship's computer and see if the map data and scan data were identical...

... and he was shocked to find out that they were. He saved the data and then broke the connection. "Samus... take the main hall just in front of you. After a while, you will run into a large room. Navigate your way to the exit numbered A-0. You will reach a small elevator. Take it down to the bottom level, F-10. The core will be just ahead. I have detected fluctuations in the layout so this path might not remain the right one for the whole duration of your movement... but in the current layout, this is the correct room."

During this time, back on the ship, the voice echoed again...

"Smart decision... The one who is well-informed has 300% chances of success compared to one who doesn't know anything about the location of its mission..."

Harpuia noticed the quick teleportation and quickly redirected himself so that he stood between the zombies and the incoming figure. He readied himself into a fighting-position and looked threathingly at the new enemy. "You die here." Harpuia simply stated and concentrated.

After placing some distance between himself and the Phanteon-zombies, the Aztec Falcon dived down behind a big sand-dune. Zero was eying him suspiciously. "There's no reason to look like that at me," the Falcon said in his androidic voice. The voice had been programmed so that orders and threaths could be delivered and was having a difficult time being reassuring. "I'm under orders of The Sage Harpuia. He wishes me to help you with the enemies. Then he wants to talk to you."

Very powerful auras... very... strange auras... almost like...

Troy held both weapons close to his chest. "They're giving off the same energy as that Phase Koopa, but it's far more intense. And this just confirms things." Troy held up the green blade, loosening his grip. The sword wobbled around in his hand. "It's as I figured. These are living beings. But you animated them. I shouldn't have gotten that strong a reaction from the Koopa OR these beings. There's multiple souls crammed in the same space; I don't know how many, but it's an artifical occurance.

"It's common knowledge that the Ragnarok keyblade is simply an extension of my soul given physical form as I see fit... more powerful than the regular Chronicle keyblade I used otherwise. Kamek likely saw this as a beneficial side-effect of getting me to join up. Harnessing that would let you perfect your animating of existing machines, wouldn't it? Unfortunately... as it is bound to me... you will find it very hard to contain..."

This will be difficult...

"I am no puppet!" Troy cast his arm out, and a single beam shot out from his barrier. It grew in height, dividing the two nearest golems from each other. He lunged out at one, keeping an eye on the adjacent one as he stabbed forward. He rose up, attempting to strike it at the shoulder of its sword-arm.

-Ex Lighttheart-

Walking inside, Ex smiled back, as she saw her father seemed to be happy for some reason. As he called for her, she came closer. "What is it?" she asked, peering over his shoulders and on the computer for an instant, wondering if the information was inside it. "The... secrets of the Hunters? That's great!"

-Zero-

Zero winced, as he felt his body get raised suddenly, now grasped by the talons of the Aztec Falcon. "Gah!" he cried, before slashing the zombies that were still holding onto him.

When they landed, he looked at the Falcon, intrigued, even more after its explanation. "Harpuia wants to... talk?" he asked, unsure. This could have been a trap... but the amount of zombies was just staggering.

Well, he'd wait for now.

Samus nodded, and responded. "Alright. Going there now." As she took off down the moist halls covered in rusty metal plates and hand rails, she was reminded of the interior of the Magmoor caverns on Tallon IV.

As she entered the main room, she scanned for the exit Adam had specified. As she systematically checked the room, some... familiar sounds could be heard.
"Gyaarrr! It's her! Destroy herrrr!"
"Goddammit... Zebesians? Here!?" She readied her arm canon for the imminant skirmish.
Where the hell did they come from?

-Ex Lightheart-

Dr.Love smiled and pointed at the computer screen. "See? Look at those patterns..."

On-screen, an analysis of Ex's DNA and some more unknown codes were displayed. "After years of work... I finally found out how it would be possible to operate the strange machine at the top of the mountain! Indeed... by comparing some of your DNA with internal computer AI routines... I found out that this machine could be operated by you!"

The scientist's smile widened. "Indeed... it seems that there is a way, somehow, for you to operate all of those machines using the original interface, without going through our technology! You realize it? You could access all of the databases and activate all of the old warp points without any data loss!"

-Zero-

The zombie hordes in the distance seemed confused... and then, out of sudden, seemed to disappear as suddenly and mysteriously as they had appeared. At this moment, the transmission scrambling's source vanished and Ciel called to him...

"Zero? Zero? Do you read me? Zero?" she was obviously extremely worried...

(Lemurian)
-Harpuia-

Before Harpuia, the unknown figure thrown its cloak away, revealing its shape. The enemy was a grotesque Reploid made of various machines all mashed into a single one, forming a somewhat humanoid robot with a single-eyed cylindrical head and with a chainsaw as a left hand while its right hand was a deffective Buster cannon with five blades acting as fingers.

"Youssssss die heresssssss..." hissed the strange reploid.

The things were much more agile than what they seemed to be as the armored being sidestepped the incoming stab easily and then, brung its strange blade toward Troy, swinging it with much more speed and precision than any Golem could have.

Those creatures... these were not souless golems. Troy could sense it... there was someone... or something... under those suits of armors and yet... there was something awfully wrong with them. As if they were kind of... corrupted?

(Clockworkz)
-Samus Aran-

However, in a flash of light, the room was just an empty containment room containing various containers. Scanning indicated that they contained mostly food and basic equipment found on most ships. There was absolutely trace that there ever was Zebesians in this room...

Also, for some reason, the signal between her and Adam begun to grow weaker. It seems that the closer to the core she was, the less the computerized human would be able to help her...

... but well, this wouldn't be the first time she would be on her own... although this place IS seriously messed up.

His words were making her smile as well, as she understood what he was saying. "You mean... I could find out more about what happened, and why I landed here? I could find out where I came from?" she asked, extactic. This could be a chance for her to find out more about her past... more about why she had reached this planet, and not any other...

-Zero-

Zero blinked, as he realized all the zombies were gone... then, the transmission returned. "Ciel?" he replied, before continuing. "Yes, I'm here. Did something happen on your side?"

Troy reeled forward as his attack zoomed clear under the humanoid's shoulder, hunching down and using his momentum to swing upwards in the same direction with the Ragnarok in his other hand. Both blades caught against each other.

Or, they would have.

Troy's pupils dilated as a jolt of energy tore through his body, and he quickly lost control of his arm. The machine's attack forced its way through his defenses, and the Ragnarok barely absorbed the attack as he was sent flying backwards. Tumbling across the floor, he skidded to a stop where he started. Troy wheezed sickly as he knelt down.

"What the hell?!" Troy clutched his arm, which was now nearly totally numb. "That's not just a concentration of souls... that's a prison of them!"

Where are you?! Troy!!

Troy stuck the Ragnarok back out, concealing it within himself again. "Exposing my own soul... made me more sensitive to the voices of other souls... and what I heard there was pure agony. I think I'm beginning to understand what's going on here. Where did these souls come from? Tell me!!"

Troy! We need you at the Obelisk immediately! We have a major security situation!

"I'm a tad tied UP here!" Troy yelled to no one in particular.

(ooc: Yeah sorry all, I was on holiday in France for two weeks and because of my stupid procrastination problem I never got round to posting in everything to say I would be.)

Sanigen simply watched Firux wave good bye, not making any other response. When she was out of sight, Sanigen just sat down on the floor with his back against the nearest wall. "I guess I'll never see my sister again... Ah well, saving her hide and many others is worth it. Pay back for all the times she's saved mine I guess. Now to find my fricking way around this fricking ship I guess..."

Sanigen thought for a second, and realised he'd heard so many stories (Fiction, but whatever) of people getting taken away somewhere by some random people, they are befriended by the random people and then the random people betray them at the end. Since Sanigen was no way near that pessimistic he went with the option these guys are totally awesome good. After his long thoughts, he went up to random people asking if there was any maps around the place.

The human nodded, smiling. "Exactely. We will finally find out why you were sent to our world! We might also get the opportunity to understand more about the Hunters' technology and how to operate it."

The human slowly got up. "Now... I guess you're burning with desire to test out the Hunters' machines and find out more about your past, right?" his smile widened... "Well... as soon as you're ready, we shall do just that!... if you have no problems with the idea of participating, of course."

-Zero-

"Zero!... thanks goodness! Yes, we lost contact with most of our squads that were out at the moment we lost contact with you. We did receive some transmissions here and there but..." she paused. "... they were incoherent at best and well..."

There was an uneasy pause. Ciel was obviously both very relieved that Zero was still alive and very worried about what had happened...

"Zero... what happened exactely on your side?"

(Lemurian)
-Harpuia-

Most surprisingly, the drills pierced through the enemy with ease, making circuits flying about. The monstruous reploid's single eye stopped glowing and the thing fell into pieces, seemingly destroyed, the pieces sinking back in the sand...

... but then, after a second, the pieces emerged behind Harpuia, quickly reforming the enemy and reactivating themselves!

"That wassssss pathetic... Now... my turn..." hissed the monstruosity, pointing its buster at the V-Hangers...

Energy charged into it... and then...

BOOM!

The buster exploded, sending a mix of strange purple energy and burning metal toward the V-Hangers while Pantheon pieces emerged from the ground, forming a new buster for the enemy!

As Troy stared at the armored creatures, it seemed so strange. Those creatures were unnatural monsters, living soul prisons and yet... they didn't attacked like tortured, damned creatures... no... their rage was too raw... too strong. Such an unthinking rage and fury was worthy of soulless creatures and yet, those creatures had souls but...

... it was then that something in their aura became very obvious.

The souls... they weren't tortured, damned, marked, or controlled in any way... they weren't even trapped...

... they were... empty.

There were no thoughts, no memories, no hope, no pain... nothing. The souls were still there but somehow, everything that once made them what they once were had been removed completely, leaving them as only empty, unthinking shells...

"I think he had enough." said an arrogant, cold voice from the shadows behind Kamek's throne.

The armors suddenly stopped moving and slowly stepped away from Troy... and then, a strange creature came into view. It was some kind of humanoid fox wearing a green coat and black pants. Its blood-red eyes were filled with arrogance and a silent, cold hatred of all things...

"So... I think you must have realized that we're slightly stronger than the amateurs you fought before..." stated the strange fox.

(Teundusia)
-Sanigen-

As the human came out of the room and entered the main deck, one of the Hunter agents, a fellow human, noticed him.

Listening to Sanigen, the human pointed at one of the computers encased in the metallic walls. "A map? Just log in to the computers and then, ask them to give you a map. If you're familiar with keyboard input, you can use it but else, the computers use voice recognition systems. It's simple really."

The human then turned his back to Sanigen, resuming what he was doing. "Now... if you excuse me, I have work to do."

(Clockworkz)

As Samus walked through the empty halls, everything was fading in and out constantly, enemies from ages past constantly alternating between the physical and mental realm...

Obviously, the ship was stuck in a VERY powerful dimensional anomaly...

Then... finally... the core room...

In the middle of the massive, circular room, just next to metal pillar in the middle that housed the engine, a familiar figure...

... no! It can't be!

Can it be... Dark Samus?!? Didn't she blasted that blasted mutated Metroid out of the Phazon Suit before? How can it be standing there, alive?

"Welcome Samus Aran. I've been waiting for you..." said the sinister, familiar voice...

-Zero-

Zero took a deep breath, and began speaking again. "I don't quite understand it, but... somehow, this place was a cemetery of dead Pantheons when I came here... but they had been reactivated... and yet, not quite, like they were some sort of undead. There were so many... but somehow, they all disappeared into the dust, just now. Also, apparently, Harpuia is-" Zero stopped, as he looked over the dune, seeing Harpuia fighting with something. "Great... seems like he's in a battle... guess I should pay back his favor already," he added, before dashing towards him.

Troy held both blades in front of him, slowly sheathing them back within himself.

"That's a valid point," Troy mumbled, slowly turning to focus on the fox. "...but I hope you're not thinking the same of me."

Upon that, he pivoted away again, folding his arms in front of him. "You've got me in a sticky situation... not only is my mind confused, my soul is. Staring into those abysses in front of me, all I can see is rage coming out of thin air... with no memory behind them, and no insanity to deem it rational otherwise. All that's left is a negative energy that Ragnarok can't interact with... so I'm going to take a shot in the dark here and say that you burn everything but the husk from a soul and use it as a catalyst for fury... but if that were the case, that's no different than using a potent fossil fuel."

Troy glared back at the leader. "And if that's the case, what do I have that's so sacred to you?"

Man, negotiation isn't one of my strong points...

Sanigen thanked the man and made his way to the computer. "Righty then, what have we got here?" He mumbled to himself. He never got the hang of using any form of electronic properly, and this wasn't much different. After 20 minutes of randomly clicking and typing things in he finally managed to get on. "Okay... Er, map of ship?" He said into the voice recognition thingy, and a large map popped up on the screen. Sanigen began to feel a bit hungry. "Hmm... Can you show me how to get to a place that serves food?" He asked into it. He memorised the route it gave him and followed it, really hoping now that he did not have to pay for it in any way... He was kinda broke. He also got tired of being on the ship and kinda wished he had taken the other medallion. "It's for Earth..." He thought.

One of the pieces of metal within the discharge was slammed into the right V-Hanger with a lot of strenght! It's probable it will take serious damage or even be destroyed.

The fox nodded. "Seems like you got it. You see..." he approached one of the empty souls... "People believes that souls are sacred... and unique... but they are the same as everything else... mere tools. Souls are more potent than any form of fuel however... they are the source of all feelings, the source of all destructive power! Since we need destructive power to fulfill our plans, souls are the best tool for the job. They're useful... they can be reforged into warriors or used as power generators. Of course, higher demonic life-forms use them as nourishment..."

The creature stepped toward Troy... "Now... I am Lieutenant Shadow and I am an Anti-Ex, one of the most elite warriors of the UEN. We are interested in you... because of this." he then pointed at the Ragnarok blade...

"Anti-Exs are beings of pure Destruction... beings of pure Hatred. We are the elementals of Darkness... and our purpose is to awaken the desire for death within living beings and fulfill it... and this.." he pointed at the Ragnarok again. "... is the key to this process."

Lieutenant Shadow grinned evily... "This Universe used to be ruled by the Hunters... but the time for the Hunters has passed. This Universe is now the world of the UEN! Troy... you are a wielder of a Blade of Souls... one of those who are destined to rule this world alongside us!"

-Sanigen-

As Sanigen made his way through the ship, he found out something about it: it was as massive as a city or even several cities. In fact, the mothership was a self-sufficient planet!... well, a weird-shaped, mechanical planet at least.

As such, there were hundreds of places where food could be obtained. The computer had somehow identified and scanned Sanigen, learning that he was broke and unfamiliar with technology... and as such, as Sanigen came out of the warp lift, he found himself in a new part of the ship.

The ground was made of dirt and grass with a cement path leading to several buildings. The ceiling was transparent, letting whoever was inside see one of the many artificial suns orbiting the ship as well as the see of stars beyond. An almost perfect recreation of an actual planet environment... complete with birds singing and chirping in the trees and various animals, many which were unlike anything that had ever lived on Sanigen's world, scampering about...

In front of him lies his destination... a cafeteria building. According to computer specifications, all Hunters have the right to minimum rations ; the fact that Sanigen is broke won't be a problem...

Troy grimaced at the situation - but, moments later, the proverbial light bulb went off.

He threw his hands up. "Well, well. You've got me in a tight situation here. It looks like Ragnarok itself is useless against your warriors... and you're not going to let me go. It seems like I have no choice but to concede here." the green blade in Troy's hand vanished, and reappeared a moment later. "If you want the Ragnarok, you'll have to listen close. I'll surrender this to you on two conditions: one, you let me leave this place, and two, you wait until I'm gone before applying it to the Soul Forge. You know, that might have the undesired side effect of destroying me and it. Alright?"

Troy tapped the weapon against the ground a few times, verifying it. He tossed it out onto the ground between him and Shadow.

Even if they fall for this, I hope this doesn't kill me...
