No, I am not requesting a commercial ROM. Although yes, I do suppose it was pointless. But I was just stating that I want to play the game... I just can't... can't be helped, though. Oh well.

All right, this is the second and final qualifier to my post: The game crashes when you try to continue after a game over. This is not what I was referring to. I, being the curious type, went to "end" in order to try the Mario quest. This does not crash the game. This works just the way it is supposed to and returns you to the opening screen. I was pointing out, however, that it returns you to the original opening. Obviously it is not a bug, it is just something that most likely slipped by.

Now can we please stop nitpicking one of the minor details of the rest of my otherwise relevant post? I mean, at the very least I gave some legitimate constructive criticism, which is more than I can say for about nine tenths of the other posts in here.

Ok, i just finished marios first world, I found a small bug. I went into the mushroom house and tried to buy the panda suit. it wouldn't let me. I had 288 coins so i had enough, but instead it let me buy the boomerang suit?? it took all my coins, even though i didn't have enough.

I do believe you patched this to a prehacked SMB3 rom, possibly my SMB3DX because the last screenshot shows a level that was in SMB3DX, but is no where in LvM... odd

For this who want to know:

The first part of the cheat code in the hack is press Up A Up at the title screen. There's three more buttons to press to enter ths code... who will find it??

Really, really weird crash in Luigi's fortress... I haven't been able to duplicate it, but the game runs extremely slow around this point, aroudn where the Thwomp and the dry bones are.

This pipe leads you to the room of infinite deaths (aka, the starry death room). Also, you can trap yourself in the enclosure to the right by sliding in, and then you're stuck there too.

You can buy the items in the "item holder" chests for all your coins. One has a leaf and one has a key.

There's a spot with two platforms with red koopas on them, go between those platforms and you'll see it (but you won't fall to a death, don't worry )

I just realized that I didn't remove the green Mushroom house like I was supposed to. It blended in with the ground too much, crapples!

Ok, I'll give the full cheat code now:

At the title screen, press: Up A Up Up A Down to obtain the secret items. Refer to the manual to see how to use them.

OMG that looks good. Very nice story. I like what you did with the shop. You can actually buy things with the money you gather. I love the background and the graphics, they are great. This looks like my number one SWM hack.

You don't patch ROMs, you patch IPS patches to ROMs. Get Lunar IPS and open it. Go to "Apply IPS Patch". Select the IPS patch to use and the ROM you want to patch it to and bingo - the IPS is patched.

After skipping the evil 1-7 by writing 01 to RAM address $14, I found another bug in 1-8:


* Going inside this...


* ...takes you here to your doom.

Oh, and isn't there supposed to be a Doomship at Luigi world 1? I can't seem to be able to access one. (Hmmm...I guess this was probably what legoman meant when he asked his question....)
