THAT MEANS TURN YOUR COMPUTERS OFF AND GO HELP OUR ENVIRONMENT! 
Yes, today is as a matter of fact National Earth Day. For those who don't know, this is a day where we take the time to fix up our environment and make it much cleaner. It's a great day to go outside(unless it's raining like a b*tch) and help our nation be a nicer one. It'll also help if you didn't drive as much since that will do two things: keep the air as polluted as it normally is and lower gas prices(most could care less about the environment). People everywhere are doing stuff for Earth Day and you can help to. Just find a place and help plant tress or clean up. Sometimes they have rallies across the nation. Get out and do something to help the environment today! |

| For Earth Day I'm going to be taking a bus rather than driving.
A bus to a Band competition at Davis. Which is supposed to be awesome, but I've always been busy in prior years. We'll see if it lives up to the hype. |

| There were people who were going to do this thing for SSL today, which was to go to a 3 hour cleanup, but it got cancelled because of the rain so they got screwed out of it. Yeah, sux for them.
Today, I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I have to work on a project for something about the environment today so I'll have to do something before or after that. Hmmm... maybe I just won't go anywhere that requires me to go by car this weekend. Dunno. Probably plant some trees or something. |

The last time I was ever expected to do something for Earth Day was back in public school  Even then, the only thing we did that I can remember right now was simply walking around the streets near the school and picking up garbage. Most of us were just glad to get out of class though We did the same thing one year in high school, except the area to be cleaned included the football field as well. The wind blew pretty much all the loose garbage into the fence around the edge of the field, which made our job considerably easier.
Anyways, I can't say I have any special plans for today. Unless Earl has plans for tonight's closers to pick up garbage in/around the parking lot, and in front of the building. I can't really see him saying that, but you never know  |

| Well, lets see, I'm driving to a huge anime and comic book sale in a few minutes, then I'll be driving back home. And then, in a few hours, I'll be driving again to work. Sorry earth, but I have things to do today and I'm not missing work because I should drive less today. And there's no way in hell I would tak the bus; the transportation sucks in this state. And actually, its not good to plant a tree right now. In fact, in some areas, they were starting to plant trees after last years hurricane season, but since the season starts up again very soon, they're going to wait. Funny how they finally start to replant the trees 8 months later. Good job waiting for the last minute. |
