Yeah, so I have known this ladie friend for quite a while (like 10 weeks off and on) She is coming around more and more (around our group) Now I want to be with her, I feel I could give her the world. I have known her before this but not as much. I guess my friend talked to her (without me knowing while at work) and he said that she said "Randy is a cool guy, I would like to know him more before anything happens." Now this is where I need help, does that mean going to a movie, mini golf, etc? What is that getting at?

Edit: I heard she is really confussing, and her myspace says...

"Cuddleing is like two puzzles peices that fit together.
I adore peircings and guys with lip peircings are hott!
I always just go with the flow.
I'm a good listener.
TV isn't fun but listening to music is.
I'm shy if i don't kno you.. but then I'm annoying.
Singing in the car is the best.
Blue is the best color.
Disney movies rock.
Friends are the most important things in life.
I hate crying.
I keep my anger inside.
I always work.
Bingo is the best!
I love animals but hate bugs.
I have a kitty and getting a new one soon.
Giving is what i do.
Spending money isn't to fun.
I wear my sunglasses at night.
I always stay up late.
Texting is the best.
I dont let little thing get to me.
I forgive people way to easy.
I always get fucked over!
I'm a whiskey girl.
Everyone says I'm difficult.
I'm hard to get into a relationship with.
I'm hard to please.
Showing feelings is hard for me.
I like to poke people.
I tend to get in trouble no matter where I go or do.
It's hard for me to trust people.
I don't know how to be mean.
I hate hurting people.
It's hard for me to say no.
I listen to oldies in my car so I can act stupid.
Roller skating @ night.
Summerfest.
Spongebob.
Tinkerbell.
Good smelling stuff.
White roses will win my heart.
Sweatshirts are warm
I get lost in blue eyes."

I am seeing her tomorrow after work at a bonfire and I would appreciate any advice guys and girls could give.

Don't worry so much. The most unattractive thing is someone who tries too hard. She hangs out in your group alot, that's a very good thing. When you guys are at the bonfire try to talk to her, if you guys click.. it'll be very easy to start a conversation with her. When a girl says "she wants to get to know you better"... it usually means "give me a little bit of time to decide". So she's deciding.. try not to come on too strong, but just kind of hang around and see how things go. Just make it like you're hanging out with your friends.. and you can usually tell how someone feels about you by watching the way they look when they talk to you. So I dunno, just talk to her and hang around with her. If it's meant to happen.. it will.

Ask her out to the movies or something.

I believe life's too short for regrets. I hate the "what if?" feeling. I say if you have an opportunity (i.e. she's single) then go for it!

I think what Snow Tomato said makes the most sense. But how do I know if I should "move in" and go for it. I was reading some interesting things online last night that had to do with Body Language.

I think if you try using body language so soon, you're going to come on too strong. She said she's thinking about it, so don't rush it. If she acts like she wants you to ask her out, then just ask her. It doesn't require "moving in" and "going for it."

That's just me, though.

Thats what my friend told me, but my other friend acted like she was really interested. Im not trying to come on too strong, but it makes sense that if she wants to get to know me better that we hang out as friends like one on one... or is that not true?

It makes sense.... as friends. Being a friend means acting the way you always do, not coming on to her. There's a huge difference to me.

Body language =! coming on. Most of it isn't even noticeable except to sub-conscient suggestions.

You always use body language, no matter what. So don't try to stand limp as a log, continue to gesticulate and do as you will. However, you ought to control a lot of outward gesturing through your actions and avoid coming off as overtly interested. She, at this point, probably knows you're interested - get to know her. As a friend. If there is something between you two then something will click and you'll be dating. If there isn't...well, you'll have a good friendship

The only pity is that if you get the latter too often

There's nothing wrong with good friendship, and good friendship is more important than dating, because dating usually lasts a while, but good friendship lasts a lifetime.

Anyway, yea, I'd say, based on a lot of recent experience similar to this (which didn't turn out too well), just be yourself. Don't try to act a certain way, just be you--and if things click, it means she likes you for YOU, not a certain way you were trying to act.

If you feel you guys know each other well enough, sure, ask her if she wants to go hang out sometime. If she's hesitant, it may mean she's uncomfortable at this point.

Either way, I'd say just be you.

What do you normally talk about? If she doesn't share some common interests then it isn't worthwhile.

Any girl I meet needs to be able to talk about the Buddy Holly. Perhaps you should talk about something less esoteric than him?

The Buddy Holly?

You mean HOLY? Jesus?
Jesus is holy, not holly.

Jesus is the man, but I get annoyed when people get so obsessed with trying to please the Lord, try too hard to be good to people instead of just BEING good to people.

But I digress.

Yea, it would be good to have some common interests--otherwise, what would you do together that you both could enjoy?

If she's the quiet type, then maybe you could find something to DO.

One thing I've learned...

When two people can be with each otther in silence and be comfortable, they're truly friends.

One thing that one of my friends has said time and time again she wishes guys would do is go to museums with her. She's a silent individual and really likes things along those lines.

Take out her to a Disney movie.

About convos, just try to talk about general stuff. At some point, she's bound to stop being so shy around you. Might take a while and you might have to work on, just don't come on too strong and you should be okay.

Yea, ask her what her interests her and that sort of stuff.

Would it be a good idea to ask her to prom or on a date?

I would take her to prom and/or on a date just as friends first to see where this gets you.

Hey, lately I've been thinking that prom was coming up pretty soon. I mean, -insert name here-, I was wondering if you would be interested in going with me. It'd be great to have you come along so that we could really enjoy the night.

edit: geeo - there is a lot you don't know
