| I'm not sure if people have ever heard of this. Apparently some guy tricked out UMK3 for genesis and addded a buttload of features. almost 20 more playable characters, new fatalities for everyone, new combos and special moves. Info for it can be found at this link.

Does that mean it wouldn't run on the real hardware? |

| Well, the Gens hack is at the link provided, you have to log in to download it cause unfortunately attatchments can only be downloaded by registered members. But the patch is inside the folder and all you need to do is rename your rom so it matches the patch. Then open it with the Gens. I imagine it probably won't work with the real hardware cause it gots a few new sound effects but I guess I'm not sure. (edited by iamstillhiro1112 on 04-20-06 09:22 AM) |

| The character selection screen looks very amateurish. A mixed bag of different picture styles, and the thing isn't even symmetrical.
But I guess that hacking-wise, it required quite some skills to make. |

| Well, the site is russian. But there is only one link in the UMK3 section. Just click that and it takes you to the download page, which is in english. I guess I should mention that the maker of the hack is russian. So there is a russian message thrown in the game sometimes. Not a big deal tho. I don't think registering at a forum is much effort to bother uploading it here. I mean many people here would tell someone to use google to find a rom hack, rather then asking for someone to hand them a link. So I am providing the links for the needed materials, it just takes 5 minutes to register and activate your account and you got a cool ass game for the minimal effort. | |||
