I don't know.

Kyouji's current avatar doesn't say much about his personality.

Now Professor Logic.

That thing spoke volumes.

Vooooooooolumes on Kyouji.

Have you, or have you not heard of the expression "a chip on his shoulder" before? I thought it was pretty common.

Anyway, I don't really picture much of anything talking when people are posting, other than in the story threads, in which case I think of their characters...sometimes out of the SF as well, such as with Kirb, though he rarely posts outside of the SF.

I usually associate a member with his or her avatar as well. Very few users have posted a picture that stays with me when I see or hear their name, so I usually picture their avatar or layout or custom title.

I think a lot of us do that, it's just how our brains work.

Never.

And I still don't know what it means; I just have a decent idea. But it's too vague. I need to know

I have never heard that phrase either, but that can probably be explained by english not being my first language.

Yeah, I associate people's avatars/layouts/etc. with the user, but I do not feel that it says anything about their personality really. It's more the way they act/type their posts. (I feel this is fairly obvious.)

Though, one thing I sometimes wonder about, is if our posts represent the way we really are. You know, off the computer, IRL, or whatever.

Also, I'd like to know what people see in my current avatar. I KNOW what it means, but does it say anything to you?

I link avatars to persons... It kinda makes me make an image of the person inside my head... which often leads to disappointment when I see their actual photo.

Weird.

I am nothing like my avatar or my layout.

Making a shallow assumption isn't going to get you anywhere.

Okay, what does my avatar say about me then?

I made my avatar, and it's a drawing of myself in manga-style... Except I don't usually wear an armor. It's actually a reference to an RPG I'm making (and that I'll probably never have the time to finish)...

But anyway, the avatar should tell you I'm cocky and confident, or something.

Dracoon, I see you as a guy that don't take crap, and you really don't care what people think, yet you're cool as well. I still see you previous avatar in my head and layout; that's why I think those things about you...

The reverse doesn't work either.

And Skyon, I am just a Trigun fan.

In fact, the reason I have this layout up is because I replayed Terranigma.

It's not supposed to fool people per se. Just be kind of ironic.
