| Well, with more thought on the matter, I realize it was probably a poor decision to jump hastily to sign up for this. Over the next month or so I'll be ridiculously unable to spend large contiguous amounts of time on the internet, and I doubt I'll be able to schedule anything.
So yeah, despite how horrible it feels to do so, I'm going to have to drop out of this before playing any games at all. My apologies to everyone who has waited for me. |

| For those who love them some Iron Sheik, let's just say Emptyeye only got as far as suplexing me. Yes, this is powar abuse. Reeeeeeeeally. Well, THIS! Is commentary on the match! * I throw down with SINUS. * Emptyeye IMMEDIATELY bingoes me with ASPIRINS. * Oh, fuuuuudge. Uhm... I reply with GLIMMERS, getting a bingo of my own. * He eventually takes over... ahunno when. But any shot I had of catching up was over when after he played EBB, I used BIND. (Dramatic irony, as I was in one.) He hits the triple word for EDGE (fuuuuck), then I have to go with ROD as we're out of excess letters. He drops DOOMED on me (triple word score AND triple dramatic irony!) and I am, well, what he said. Advice? Know your two-letter words. It lets you drag the game on when the observer's begging you to just pass so she can go to bed. 
Also, in the name of fresh posting and general moving of things along, any chance anyone else could update the bracket while YD's on the DL? :/ Just to take something off her plate for the time being. | I think it was MOLE that was the equivilant of Hogan bodyslamming Andre the Giant actually. EDGE was me dropping the big leg, and DOOMED was me pinning drjay for the 1-2-3 as (Okay, I technically had the lead for pretty much the entire match, not counting his first turn which was before mine, but still)
From my side of it, I played ASPIRINS not even expecting it to be a real word (I always thought the plural of ASPIRIN was just ASPIRIN). I think I have a comfortable lead when drjay comes back at me with GLIMMERS, and I realize "This may not be that easy after all". I pretty much maintained whatever margin I had (15-20 point lead, maybe) until the aforementioned MOLE, which was some sickeningly high-point play (I think it was 28) thanks to the M being on, I think, a Triple Word (It was definitely Triple something), and playing off of RICER which gave me ME and OR as well. EDIT: I looked at a Literati board just now. For my MOLE play, the M was on a Triple Letter which counted twice (For both MOLE and ME) and the E was on a Triple Word. a) just giving dcahrakos the win, because he has no opponent and I'm tired of waiting or b) just kicking him and his nameless opponent out, giving Xk the win, and moving on opinions? I mean, dcahrakos hasn't once popped in here to ask about his game. Come on people. Also, damn it neo and kamek, play your game >8( |

| I didn't see neo on the boards or AIM today. It's becoming a bit of a pattern; he's gone when I'm gone, and I'm gone when he's gone...
