Hey folks, I've been messing with the menu commands and I have created one or two new things, first thing is that I have found a way to enable the ability to turn items on and off, this was not created by me but was something that was already planted in the game but is just never used. Second, something I created, the ability to change between power suit, zero suit and phazon suit(the phazon suit is just the gravity suit with color changes). I also planted one more thing in this but you'll have to find it yourself

I guess I should explain the rules for clip data.

Shift for moving.

Control for resizing.

Us arrow keys, should work.

Scrolling is what the room scrolls in. Take part of it off, you'll never seen that screen again.

Alrighty time to go to the girlfriends. Peace!

Played around with it yesterday...Im liking the stability of it all these days..

Problem i noticed is the editor still leaves a process running in task manager after you click the close button.

The scroll editing is a nice touch as I've now made the starting room one large open arena instead of a small confined area. Being able to move enemies also without having to use the old Metroid Zero Mission Header editor is a good thing.

Can you explain the difference between the Item Editor's debug, easy, normal and hard settings? Obviously relatively self explanatory but when does debug jump into play?

I think it might be for the start of the game but i'm not too sure, but the rest of them work as intended.

I've been silently watching this for some time now. One thing I've noticed though:
Why is the notepad sprite list listed in hex when in the program if you want to change the sprite to something else, you need to input the hex number in decimal? Couldn't you code it so that they either both are decimal or hex?

If you want to do hex, use &H followed by the hex number that's all =P Simple!

I was looking around, desperately looking for how scrolldata gets changed

I really like the new version!

EDIT:

Just tried it. Debug is not for the start of the game.

EDIT 2:
I might sound stupid, but I'd really like to know... how do you edit Scroll: 2? And why's there no Scroll: 1 and can you add new Scrolls?

EDIT 3 (how often still?):
I think I could help a bit with finding out what each unknown clipdata does...
Whereas I think 52 is shootable (never reforms)

Ok here's the rules

If you don't see it on there. It's values are FFFFFFFF
Use space bar to switch between scrolls

Press control to enter moving mode and use the keyboard to move
Press Shift to enter resize mode to resize. Simple

I'm really liking this release. Scrolldata Editing works like a charm. Although some of the rooms (like Crateria) are a bit messed up.

I'm also working on the Music list. I'll probably continue on to the Tileset list as well.

Any idea on what to expect on the next release?

*looks for post in IRC*
[16:57] Next version
[16:57] You can swap tilesets between ZM and MF
[16:57] And whole rooms
[16:57] Export tileset graphics
[16:57] And palette
[16:57] And TSA editor

i'm also thinking about a wav importer/exporter for songs
