How about a "change tileset" option. So you could turn parts of brinstar into norfair looking areas. | |||

A great tile laying system would be great, maybe if it works like a clipboard, where the player can create complex layouts, and then copy and store them for future use... like "cookie-cutter" pieces... | |||

All statues except for the unknown item statues share the same graphics, as far as I understand. I think this was done on purpose, since there were no left facing statues in the origional metroid. I think currently it's all or nothing, either all of them get re-faced, or none of them get refaced. Of course, if there was a way to let each individual statues to use the unknown statue graphics(since 2 of them do face left), then that could be arranged. I will have to take a look. | |||

Ok so a lot has happend since the last picture. And a level viewer this weekend is inevitable. Quite a few rooms are viewing perfect! Or near perfect i've included 2 screenshots this time for you guys to love. And hopefully get more comments. And this project isn't just you guys, for I as well so i'm working hard for everyone. Impressive! I hope you figure out what's causing those minor graphical errors, this is looking better with each image.
Looking at them in unLZ-GBA they don't, each item has its own statue graphics.
