Yes, I registered just to ask this, but I've been viewing these boards for a while now.

Anyway, I was messing around in my Star-120 file of DW:TLC, and I go over to Boo's Secret for no particular reason. So anyway, I use the cape to hit all the gray blocks from left to right, just for fun. Then, I go hit the two capes, and I fly up right afterwards, and there's a spot in the ceiling above the green yoshi somewhere that you can travel up - it just looks like you can't because the ceiling supposedly is there.

So anyway, I restart the level, take Latiku's cloud, and then travel up the passage, then to the right. A little ways over, there are SMB 3 style blocks spelling out 'SMA 2!' above a platform. I then discover the platform has an anti-yoshi door on it (The kind you can only take yoshi in if you are small). So, I go in, yoshi-less, and to my surprise, i come out in Yoshi's Island 1 from SMW. The pallete was a bit off on the ? blocks, and the status bar numbers were all yellow, but anyway, I continue. It gets to the point where the enterable pipe is, so I enter it. Where do I end up? Donut Plains 1. Yadda yadda yadda, I learn that exit posts and keys take me out of the level, and pipes lead me to new places. From Donut Plains 1, I went to Chocolate Island 5, and from there I went to one are of the Sunken Ghost Ship. Then I made it to Forest of Illusion 1. I go through, and there are no enterable pipes. Bummer, so I must finish the level, and thus ending my adventure. However, in Forest of Illusion 1, hitting the transparent changing block causes Mario to drop down from the very begging of Forest of Illusion 1. I don't know the purpose of the block, if it's a glitch, or whatnot, but I didn't discover anything about it.

Anyway, that's my rant. I only post this to see if anyone had found this before. Comments and whatnot will be appreciated.

No, it doesn't do anything in the demo.

It...uh...doesn't even do anything in my current ROM. I'm very indecisive as to what I want to do with it.

Bizarre. I had no idea such a thing was present in DW:TLC. "SMA 2!" in Demo World is probably like Banjo-Kazooie's Stop n' Swop, though. Something that was going to be done but wasn't and finally just became something the designers now use to torment die-hard fans.

Also, the first demo of SMO (before BMF went all ASM-mad) had a hidden remake of the first level of Blob Bros. 2.

Did anybody else notice that Demo World's secret Donut Plains 1 and Forest of Illusion 1 are different from their SMW counterparts? DW:TLC's Donut Plains 1 has three instead of two blocks near the beginning and two oddly placed pipes near the keyhole and key; DW:TLC's Forest of Illusion 1 has oddly cut trees that the original version did not have.

This obiviously means FuSoYa is communicating to us though strange code.

Or nothing at all. But don't bring Reason into this. You all saw how the level "...?" was able to exist. This was because Reason was in fact out to lunch.

I found both of these myself I read SMA 2 in SDW TLC as gibberish. No idea what it could be. And it was just overall weird. I tried floating to the left too, but there's nothign there.

And I though the Legends level was
Spoiler:
supposed to be a hidden sphere of light that would be required to clear the game in the future

Yellow dot was a bit mean though, if I'd have missed the key the first time through I'd have never bothered to try and find it again

SMA2 = Super Mario Advance 2. With Super Mario World. Y'know. With the different palettes and slight difference throughout.

Jeeze, you guys. You're. Very late to the party.

I meant the blocks FuSoYa set up looked like they were placed randomly to me, due to my horrible object recognition skills.
