| Hello everyone,
I'm a bit new to ROM Hacking. All I'm trying to do is alter graphics and textual data. I'm trying to find the playernames and statistics in the ROMs of NBA hangtime for MAME. Even though I had no problem finding the rookies in NBA Maximum Hangtime (an update of the same game) with a relative search, I can't find them anywhere in the original game. I'm a bit stuck so I'd like to ask the people on this forum: Why can't I find them? Is it because they're using some sort of compression or encryption perhaps? If so, what can I do about that. Thanks for your help. |
