Rin smiles to himself as all three disks hit there target. This smile goes away rather quickly however when he notices the attack and once again takes a defencive stance.

OOC: Sheesh, it's been too long... Sorry for the delay. Now for some RNG rolls! *looks* Not TOO bad... Hmm, I think I like the whole Pandora thing I made.

As Yinns (and maybe Rin) feel the box reach peak strength in it's energy output, the world around them instantly blinks out of visibility as they're surrounded in thick, purple rays of light and energy-- as if they're warping though a hyperspace portal or something! Five seconds later, there are three severely bright flashes of the whitest light in succession as the battlefield instantly blinks back into view and both Yinns and Rin are (possibly) delivered an instantaneous attack out of literally nowhere.

The attack, if it hits, would deal no damage at all, but instead deliver a rather weak Silence condition (Magna 5) for anywhere from 8 to 12 turns (Halflife 5). However, the attack has a random and rather low chance to actually effect either fighter whatsoever (Aura 6). In fact, it misses Yinns completely... The question is if it'll hit Rin! If it does, any of his more advanced Techs and magic abilities will be impossible to perform until the Silence condition wears out.

Feeling no ill effects, Yinns pats his box as he puts it away.
"Now, I wanna see those fancy tricks again... that is, if you're not feeling out of the mood. KupoPO! WoohooHOO!"

OOC:yes this post sucks. I'm tired and I didn't want to make you wait any longer

The attack misses Rin compleatly, although he does sense what kind of spell it was.

"Ok, ill play your game I wont use my magic for awile. Its been awile since I've had a good fight without it anyhow."

With that said Rin Jumps high into the air from his hill and comes down with a powerrfull hammer smash, useing the sun behind him as a hiderance for anyone looking to the sky for him.

OOC: Listen, Cappa... Always, ALWAYS put quality over speed. If you're too tired to make it good, wait until morning. Don't worry about how long I have to "wait". I have enough trouble keeping track of all my fights as it is. You're only too late if it's been your turn for 7 days or more.


"Darn 6 on the Aura!"

Still surrounded in the Zodiac Oil, Yinns has to dodge carefully. As Rin reaches the peak of his leap, Yinns jumps up and forward only slightly as not to trip, Air Dashes forwards, and lands on the slope Rin made earlier. When Rin lands, he'll land right in the oil.

"Initiate Zodiac Fire."

Yinns holds his Knuckle-coated palms outward, and in 2 seconds, out of invisiblly-tiny nozzles in the palms of the Knuckles burst forth a massive cloud of searing flame, caused by the combustion of raw oil! The flamethrower attack is aimed right at Rin and the ground he's standing on, and will engulf him for 5 seconds before ceasing unless he manages to get away, which is hard because of the slippery black substance.

Worse, the oil spill Rin stands in immediately ignites upon contact with the flamethrower, and if Rin's still in there he'll become engulfed with the turquoise flames released from the spill. Since the oil in the spill was mixed with other chemicals before their release, this kind of flame will cut Rin's Attack and Defense power for a while if he's hurt by them.

All in all, it's a pretty lethal combo.


"Kupo... Wow. Just wow."

Yinns prepares to reveal his Pandora's Box again, as he'll be using it in a moment... "If that didn't get him, Green Gear will," he thinks.

Rin fails to see the oil soon enough to stop his fall. *Crack* a small crater appears where Rin's hammer hits the earth. *Thump* As Rin’s feet touch the ground the force of his fall combined with the oil cause Rin to slip flat onto his face covering him with oil. As he starts to get up he sees the fire streaming towards him and decides that his magic is the only thing that can stop the attack.

"Rock Wall"

A large wall of earth rises up to block the fire attack but Rin wasn't fast enough and the fire was already to close to the oil. As the flame spreads out against the wall blocking its path it ignites the oil around the wall and causes an increasingly large sea of flames to come towards and engulf Rin in fire. Covered in flames Rin once again resorts to the magic he had hopes he wouldn’t have to use.

"Earth Meld"

Rin escapes the flames as he melds with the earth becoming in a way a part of it.

(Note: When Rin is melded with the earth he will be affected by what affects the earth. Ex..Poisin seeping into the earth would affect Rin as if it was seeping into his body. Rin also loses his physical senses in this state and can only sense what the earth senses. Ex..pressure,vibrations )

This Meld will last until Rin is either forced to separate or chooses too

OOC: You just broke a rule, dude. Using two Techs (a.k.a. Abilities) is illegal unless otherwise pointed out by the individual statistics of the character. Basically, one action per turn in any normal circumstances.

Of course, I'll allow it this time, 'cause obviously I forced you into a devastating situation and I don't blame you, but don't forget to learn from your mistakes.

P.S. There are some exceptions to the rule. If the action was a non-Tech weak attack, it is sometimes used multiple times in a turn (a.k.a. a Combo).


"Where is he?" Yinns half-stammers, looking around after the green flames die down. "If he was caught in my 'Alchemist Master Inferno' combo, his stats should be lowered... Vest System, scan for target variable "Rin". Kupo."

As soon as the scan takes place, Yinns's vest starts beeping like crazy, but not as if in overheat.

"He's everywhere but nowhere. Great. Kupo. Now I gotta figure out what to do..."

Contemplating a plan, Yinns is a sitting duck if Rin is able to attack.

OOCorry about that, I'll take back the Rock Wall if you want.

Using the senses of the earth Rin locates Yinns and after a small wait he emerges rather quickly and silently directly behind him, waisting no time Rin lifts his hammer up and swings a mighty horizontal smash aimed directly for Yinns' side.

(Note. Earth melding got rid of the oil and fire covering Rin although he still took a decent amount of damage before he escaped. Also Rins defence and attack have been lowered by the fire so his smash will not be as strong at normal.)

Yinns turns. Way too late.

SLAM! He winces as he takes the blow, and the Vest beeps a few times in response, but Yinns is not knocked down. He has a Passive ability called Steadfast that prevents him from being knocked down.

He immediately counters the attack by firing the Coil Knuckles, both of them, at Rin. The right fist fires straight at Rin's chest, and the left fist trickily swerves to the left, and hooks right again to try and deliver a perfectly horizontal blow to Rin's jaw. The coils retract after attacking and snap the Knuckles back into place over his fists.

Yinns then air-dashes backwards, to get a decent distance from Rin. He can't do it again if Rin approaches, though, 'cause now he's too close to the green flame that's still burning. He doesn't want to get caught in his own attack if he can avoid it...!


"For someone who drinks so much ale, you certainly have some amazing tricks, kupo!"

OOC: Ready for extreme exaggeration. Well here is comes


A quick turn to the left helps Rin lessen the blow to his chest, but the fire affects his speed enough where he is unable to dodge it completely. Rin fails to notice the true intent of the second knuckle before it turns and strikes him directly in his face. (Due to his turn left.) The knuckle hits him right in the mouth knocking him back from the blow. As Rin steadies himself and wipes the blood from his mouth he watches Yinns jump backwards closer to the fire. He slowly walks forward and listens to Yinns remark.

"Actually alcohol has no effect on my fighting; I drink it for two reasons. The first is that I love a good ale. The second is that it allows me to do this."

By this time Rin is only 3 feet from Yinns. Rin stops his slow advance and pulls something out of the small pouch tied around his waist. (Which i forgot to mention earlier). The object is a match and wasting no time he strikes it on his hammer to light it.

"Secret technique: Breath of Fire"

Rin takes a deep breath, puts the match up in front of his face and using the alcohol in his breath (and some he summoned from his gut) he breaths out creating a massive fireball heading strait for Yinns. (The fire ball will of course spread out some as it approaches Yinns and possibly as Rin hopes force Yinns to back up into his own green inferno.)

As Rin lights the match, Yinns KNOWS what's about to happen.

"Agh! KUPO! Uh, initiate Mirror Step!"

Instantly Rin is surrounded in 6 Yinnses, which all look exactly alike and fool even the best detection spells. Five are holograms. One is real. Rin's attack nails one of the holograms dead-on, destroying it, leaving 5 targets left. Immediately they all Air-Dash backwards at the same time, spreading out. Each moves in sync with the others as they all hold out one of their Knuckle-fists towards Rin...

"So, Rin... What about Universal attacks? Have any of those? Kupohohohoho!"

Yinns's voice seems to come from no specific location. Hitting the target will be a guessing game. Catch: For each Hologram remaining, Yinns's Defense stat is a little lower. Should an attack hit home, it'll hit with might, a good chance for Rin to redeem his lowered Attack Power from the oil-ignition.
