Mcknasty...

It is so fucking ironic that you post that. High Gravity: Steel Reserve is the reason I stopped drinking alcohol altogether (that and smoking... cigarettes, I don't touch the wacky tabaky).

I was playing beer pong with it and my team totally sucked so I lost a hell of alot. I think that I ended up drinking somewhere between 4 and 6 40oz's. I went to the hospital for like six or nine hours and by the time I got out I was still trashed. When they tested my BA level at the hospital it was like .28 and that was after I had puked for an hour and stopped drinking two hours before that.

P.S. Wine... in a box? Snakes... on a plane? Hmm...

Franzia? Boxed Wine? I say nay. That's what I get for growing up outside Napa and having an uncle who is really into his wines. I've never been able to enjoy boxed wine, but you know, keep doing what you do.

There are many high quality boxed wines.

Some smaller vineyards are forced to put their product into boxes for juvenile wine consumption due to cost constraints or for other purposes.

I will tell you the most awesome forms of booze known to man.

The vodka melon (cut a hole in a watermelon). Dump in a 26er. Wait a few hours. BAM!

Baileylope. Cut some cantaloupe into small squares. Put in bowl. Make it swim in Bailey's. Wait for it to absorb a lot of the drink. BAM!

True, but the majority of boxed wines (at least in the states) are horrible.

Which reminds me of when we had our "race to the moon", which was two teams of three people drinking a box of Franzia.

Ugh.

Eww... no, I don't believe in boxed wine

Even some of the good quality stuff has not lived up to bottled varieties. Course, there are some crap bottled wines too.... meh, maybe I just have expensive tastes, but the cheapest I'll go for a bottle of red is $15; most of them are closer to $30 or even $50

Most of the best wines for general consumption are 12-14 dollars Canadian.

And I stand by my boxed wine statement. I've had amazing white wines from the Niagra region in boxes. They're not in bags inside the box, nor juice boxes. They're inside nectar boxes. They're about 16 dollars. Stunning taste. Just not meant to be consumed after aging.

Well, that sounds a lot different to the cask wine we seemed to first be discussing.

Cask wine is what I have a real problem with. Nasty stuff. Even the high quality cask wine is not great.

I find wine nasty, well regular wine. Now wine coolers are a different story . Champagne tastes good with a touch of coke ..

Smirnoff is okay too. I'll take those over a beer any day.

I've never been a fan of beer. I've tried different types, but I haven't found the one that I like.

I'll just stick to rum, mixed drinks, tropical, hypnotic, and milk/chocolate type drinks.

Huh, I see nothing wrong with enjoying a couple of beers/drinks/glasses of wine or whatever in your own company. But drinking alone to get drunk, that's where I draw the line, atleast.

What I drink most of the time would be either beer, or mixed drinks. I'm not that big on wine, though I've had one white wine, and one red wine which was good. I do not remember the name of the white wine, but the red wine's name was Martini Asti (It was rather weak, though, only 7 or 8 %. )

I was also served a champagne on New Years eve that was rather good, but I don't remember that one's name either.

Jägermeister is quite good as well.

Well, I think my roommates are drinking a little later.

But I'm not above getting drunk by myself.

Sometimes, your all alone, and you need a good time with yourself, nothing wrong with that. Now, when you drink a lot all by yourself all the time, then you've got issues.

Make sure you're alone in your apartment too, who knows someone might be sleeping in your shower.

Well, if you remember where you were yesterday you might find them... hopefully whole.

Heh, well I live with 5 other people, so I won't be alone. But I didn't walk back with anyone to the best of my knowledge.

Edit: And I found my glasses. Awesome.

between four and six 40s of steel reserve? i don't think i could even live through that.

a friend of mine claims to have had eight 40s (st ides i think) in one night. of course the only way he was able to keep it down was by doing plenty of coke also.
