| OOC: Didn't know where this thread was going anyway, so I was glad to bring it here. You let me know if I make Alexa a little too hard - but just try to stun her and then you can get some real damage down.
--- Alexa floated swiftly about the battleground, but her robe was emitting smoke that coated much of the cemetery and even seemed to be a part of her, so that avoiding the javelin was near impossible. As it pierced the uniform darkness of the smoke around her, fading from rainbow colors to red and then nothingness, Alexa recoiled and a lot of the black fog vanished. What effect would a bull’s-eye have had? Alexa was stunned for no more than a second, and the smoke was soon blanketing the graveyard once more, with tall tentacles sprouting directly around her. And then she was attacking again, swirling around Allaura like a dark whirlwind with her scythe outstretched, just her hood blinking into visibility here or there as she coursed around. After completing a few rapid circles and slashes, Alexa split into four clones that surrounded Allaura, and each copy forcefully brought her scythe down at once. The damage of each attack was split in four, but dodging was made a trickier thing. After this, three of the duplicates merged into the true Alexa, who now stood directly behind Allaura. Alexa: If I wasn't bound by the rules of the Council, killing you would be all too easy! |

OOC: Don't worry about making her too hard. You're an experienced Roleplayer, and you can judge these kind of things pretty well. That I am sure of. 
Allaura starts to panic a little as Alexa makes her next attack. She tries to psychically detect the foe, but she's FAST and fluid. Alexa lands in three good hits to Allaura, and although ether flares up automatically when she's hit, since it was automatic it doesn't cut damage; just prevent a cut. Therefore, Allaura has taken some hard punishment from this maneuver. But Diaxos can't take it anymore. Right as the enemy Reaper prepares her mirage-slice attack, Diaxos burns all three Blue DChakra units and rockets forward at the speed of sound, initiating Mastery Catch. This ability of his can block ANYthing, and it automatically detects the real Alexa as she swings down, Chaosmusket stopping it instantly with a forceful block. And now, since Diaxos has blocked an advanced physical attack, 2 more DChakra units are spawned from the blade and take their place orbiting it. Allaura wastes no time, immediately detecting Alexa's presence behind her. "Divine Summoning!" (echo effects) "Bring out the Celestiaspheres!" Suddenly, two etheral projectiles are on their way to Alexa-- one mahogany and one teal. They come fast, and whether they hit or miss they'll return to orbit Allaura's body, along with the 3rd one that already is (which is blue). The mahogany one should do average Holy/Earth damage and the teal one should do average Holy/Water damage. After the attack, Allaura stands in a special pose as the 3 ether spheres, the Celestiaspheres, orbit her slowly like a shield. "Miss Allaura, are you all right?" Diaxos says as he stands slightly to her right and behind her. "Yes. You saved me from a potentially lethal attack. Just save those blue units of energy for that blocking technique and we'll win this." "I dunno if that'll do it... I'll just do my best." |

--- Alexa swiftly had her scythe at hand after being deflected by Diaxos, and she spun it around to knock away the mahogany projectile. Then one of the wispy tentacles waved to block the teal ball, but was burned through on contact. The celestiasphere rushed past and struck Alexa right in the head. The reaper gasped as she was knocked back. Finding herself unable to move from the Holy powers, she leaned on her scythe until she could muster her strength again. The smoke that coated the ground, which Allaura and Diaxos may have associated with the force that seemed to hinder their movements, retracted to the very base of her robe. Alexa felt around and suddenly noticed that her hood had been pushed back, revealing her true face. She was actually human underneath; she had tight, deathly white skin, long violet hair and fussy, lavender eyes - an attractive young woman, not a ghastly skeleton or anything of the sort. Her only inhuman trait was that she was partly transparent, for she was a spirit after all. Alexa glared at the Psi Warrior and lad. Alexa: "What are you helping Jack for? Do you honestly see any honorable traits in him? Did he tell you hed clean up his act? Repent? Or dedicate his afterlife to good? " Still resting on the stick with one arm, she pulled her hood back up. Alexa: Jacks excellent at playing people, and hes done just that. I know him personally. Even if he did for a moment mean to change his ways, hell just be back to his normal, disastrous self soon enough. Gasping and helpless, Alexa waited. Yet her power was returning, and she strained to stretch the tentacles farther out across the ground (edited by Jack Skellington on 05-05-06 04:01 PM) |

| OOC: Oops, I noticed a mistake in my DChakra count. Sorry.
"All I know, Alexa, is that Sensae and the Assets won't allow him to go back on his honor if he tried, and that's good enough for us. You don't know the nature of the Living Assets, reaper! Alpha Aura!" (echo effects) A large, red light ring lights up on the ground. Allaura feels energy flow into her. This aura will supply Allaura with a turn of charged Alpha Energy per turn as she fights. While this particular energy can't be used in most Techs, it is meant to power particular ones. Using the passive ability of the Celestiaspheres, she attacks with them on the same turn, this time firing all 3 of them at the three unharmed tentacles coming out of the ground. Diaxos makes a defensive dash at the stunned reaper, attempting to deliver a Blade Lord-style cleave over her whole body. The sword attack is mixed with raw mana, so if the Physical damage has no effect on her, she'd at least take light damage from the mana in the attack. However, if Alexa chooses to attack him before or during his attack, he'll completely cease his attack and attempt to block with his katana. "I got yer back, Psi Warrior!" he calls. DChakra @ @ |

| The celestiaspheres halted the smoke from covering the ground again, and Diaxos' attack landed to deal both physical and magic damage - for the time, Alexa was prone to physical damage. But her robe then darkened once more as she recovered from the paralysis, and she reflexively jabbed her scythe at Diaxos.
Alexa: Hmph, Living Assets. We'll see. The three smoke tentacles behind her launched back and grasped onto some tombstones, and in one motion pulled them from their roots to toss two at Allaura and one at Diaxos. Keeping with the motion, Alexa then rushed forward and swung her scythe around wide, making a deadly arc that would reach both fighters if they didn't move. As Alexa stood motionless at the end of her attack, scythe held at length to her side, the tops of all the nearby headstones simultaneously slid off their bases and toppled to the clay ground. |

| Diaxos manages to barely block the scythe attack, but is nicked on the hand. He is awarded 1 Blue DChakra unit. But as he is nicked, a large cloud of blue fire, which is actually raw Mana, explodes from his hand. He shakes it.
"Agh, agh! What's that weapon got in it?" "Incoming, Diaxos!" He turns to see the tombstone about to be yanked at him. He leaps back from Alexa, and as the stone flies right at him, he performs Mastery Catch, burning both Blue DChakra as his sword plows through the projectile with a mind of its own. The stone shatters, and Diaxos receives 3 Blues. Allaura deals with her two by side-flipping away from the first one, then bringing up an ether shield for the second one. It still sends her slightly flying, since it was so heavy. Then comes Alexa's Expert Slice attack. Diaxos seems to know where it'll hit, and attempts to block it-- it works, but the attack force alone knocks him to the ground and damages him anyway. He is still awarded 3 Blues for hitting the attack with Chaosmusket, though. Allaura uses a Tech to protect herself ahead of time. "Divine Barrier!" (echo effects) The mahogany Celestiasphere slams into the ground in front of her, as a large wall of smooth rock springs up with a roar. The wall of earth is positioned just in front of her and acts as a barrier. The slice comes, and although it severely damages the barrier by knocking parts of it out in the cleave, Allaura is unharmed by it. Allaura leaps up to the top of the wall in an unusual stance. "Really, you won't want to drag out a fight with me. You'll lose." DChakra @ @ @ @ @ @ @ Alpha l..... 1/6 |

| Alexa: Oh, I'm quivering now.
The reaper turned her hood toward Diaxos and considered a way to keep him busy. Alexa: Here, work on this for a while, kid. At the snap of her fingers, a cage of smoke materialized around Diaxos! Once created, the gaseous bars of the cell began thickening - soon, he'd be trapped in a solid cube with no air but the toxic stuff surrounding him. Walking out was not an option, as it was somewhat solid and harmful to the touch; he'd have to continually attack the cloudy prison to bust a way through, and do it fast enough to outpace the smoke that was being generated. Meanwhile, Alexa hurried forward to Allaura's perch, and then turned to run straight up the stone. As she sped untiringly up the wall, she twirled her scythe in front of her like a propeller to deflect any attacks that Allaura might send down. Once she reached the edge of the rock she flipped backward, made a slice from midair, and then caught herself on the stone with the smoke tentacles. Then, using the smoke like an elastic extension of her own body, she wrapped several circles around the rock and lifted herself up behind Allaura, prepared to make another slash from behind... |
