That happened to you too huh? I tried dat swapping the moogle image with Fenrir and I ended up having a crazy ass looking thing in my moghouse.

I also tried to emulate the Lighting and Textures that is required for the game and ended up with a bunch of crazy shadows and everything.

You could do similar in some battle courses on Mario Kart 64 - if an opponent's red shell got right below or above you on another floor, it'd stop dead and follow you on that floor. You could then drive it into a wall or another person.

I think that happened once in MK: DD too. It zoomed right past my friend and did the same thing. Quite funny.

As for Other "what the hell?" moments, I canīt think of any at the moment.

Halo 2. Multiplayer.

Map: Turf.

I was across the city and heard explosions and decided to throw two plasma grenades over the buildings just for the hell of it.

I stuck two fools by pure luck and had a double kill.

Oh joy.

Well, I suppose that's a reason why I hadn't seen many other games using Oldé English. Ok, there was some in Ocarina of time, but only little...

I was once playing Stunt Racer (an old PC racing game), at least i think thats what it was, and i was screwing around trying to wreck in a spectacular way. I rammed into a car head-on and for some reason was suddenly hurled so high into the sky that i could see the map below as a small dab of color amidst a great black nothingness.

Oh yes, that reminds me of when I played Midtown Madness 2. Slammed into a car head-on, I think, or it might have been on the right/left side of the front. Anyway, my car rocketed several hundred meters up in the air.

I think I saved a screenshot from it somewhere on my computer. I tried to do the same thing a little while later but I didnīt succeed.

Star Wars Republic Commando
Wookie Bowcaster fully charged
Shooting at a person directly above me
Flying straight up into the air, stopping in the sky.
The persons limbs were stretching and he was twitching.
Then he fell down and gameplay continued...
Don't forget which level, it was outdoors though

On the original, unpatched Motocross Madness, there was a plugin for the track editor that let you make three seperate levels of terrain. Unfortunately, the game had an odd habit of treating a third layer "wall" as just a very steep ramp. As in, I'd drive into it and get flung off the map.

I ended up making a figure-eight track with just a big pillar of earth at the intersection, and putting as many computer players on it as I could. I sat back and watched the devastation as they all helplessly tried to land their 500-foot jump.

When I was younger, my father bought me a NES and Galaga. The first time we played it, we must have not pushed the cartridge in correctly, because there was no sound, and we couldn't die! We played for exactly 6 hours, and we didn't beat the game before we gave up. What the heck man, this game wasn't meant to be beaten?!? The levels we made it to didn't register correctly, the speeds of the enemies got to impossible levels.... It crushed our hopes of beating it by using skill... we never played it again.

I've noticed that in the NES Little Nemo game, Nemo is drawn with a sceptre strapped to his back.. a sceptre which isn't actually given to him until near the end of the game!

People often run through walls in GTA3. At least I think that's what it was.

Similarly in some Flash game I played, I just randomly hit the 'talk' button in the middle of nowhere, and I was talking to an invisible person who was actually at that same place in another room. Afterward I was suddenly teleported to that room. In the same game, you could buy negative amounts of items, and the shopkeeper would give you money.

I believe you could trigger that manually and do it yourself by entering the "speed up gameplay" code a couple of times. Doing so also allowed you to get a bulletproof, fireproof, explosionproof and damageproof Stretch.
