| Are the door tiles hard-coded so that any custom tile given their attributes will be changed into a door? I was going for a hidden exit disguised as two cement blocks for the Forest Fortress. When I inserted the same type of tile into a level that I've already passed (for testing purposes) and played the level on my emulator, it looked like a normal door. I did everything right (the F9 thing, saving the level to the ROM, making sure it was a defined exit), but the game acts like I didn't do anything. The thing is, it shows up the way I want it to in Lunar Magic. | |||

| Do you, by chance, have an IPS file by the same name as your hack in your folder? I ask because I know you've released one, and that would definitely cause such a thing, with ZSNES reverting it to how it was. (edited by Alastor the Stylish on 04-02-06 10:59 PM) |

| Oh. Well I'm pretty sure it automatically patches, too. | |||

Turns out that's EXACTLY what the problem was (smacks forehead). I moved the ips, and now my changes are showing, the disguised exit works ![]() |

| Heh. No problem, I suppose. I mean, it's an amazingly common mistake. |
