| As I'm sure everyone knows. The BEST thing a site/board can do is bombard its users with a million animated gifs. Because animation is so fucking hip and awesome and isn't the least bit completely fucking annoying.
I was worried the awesomeness of random board failures, nonsensical animation, and blinding theme randomization was just part of a genius April Fools joke... but I'm so glad to see that it's continued on past April 1st. Either adblock them out for now or just cross your fingers and hope it's fixed sooner rather than later. |

| Alright I'll admit and confess.
The underlining was part of a gag. I thought of going with italics or bold, but was worried that would be too subtle (I really wanted it to be blatantly obvious). I won't deny that the underlining is annoying. As for the confession -- this board is hilarious. It's subject to ridicule by myself and several others in #rom-hacking (Not General Chat in paticular.. just Acmlm's Boards in general). To be honest, doing a post like this every once in a while is really entertaining and fun for me. I did a similar thread a while ago, which was pretty entertaining (although I had more fun with this one, to be honest -- the spinning HOT background in my second post was sadly shortlived, but it had me rolling. Maybe I should have uploaded that .gif to another page or something so I could leave it in the thread indefinitely. Ah well too late.) This place is like an itch you can't stop scratching. An addiction you can't drop. A song you can't stand to hear, but can't stop listening to. I hate most things about this board... and I've tried to stop coming to the boards in the past -- but there's something about it that makes it hard for me -- I don't know what it is. Then there are times the board goes through stints of stupidity (like yesterday) and makes me hate it even more -- but then makes me get mad at myself for not being able to leave. There are a handful of people on here who I respect that I don't have the opportunity to talk to anywhere else, and a lot of people who I think are a walking joke. Perhaps if the respectable people were to find refuge somewhere.... maybe then... maybe then it would be easier to leave. And as this board continues to keep me in its grip, it warps me into the role of the asshole troll (see this thread, and previously linked thread). While I seriously have points I want to make in both threads, and stand behind everything I've said -- I post them in a way which mocks people. I don't do that anywhere but here -- the other boards I post on I keep myself pretty level-headed (well, maybe I got a little weird on ZMD sometimes -- but I certainly never went to this extent). What's more... I actually post on these boards the least. Hell, my post count is 4x as high on a board with 1/100000th the traffic as this one. Freaking acmlm's |

| Yeah, animated gif can be annoying. But the fact that they bother you more than others doesn't make you any smarter. Actually, the fact that you go on rants about only slightly annoying things shows that may be effected by some form of OCD. But more likely, I think you go on those rants because you feel it makes you look more intelligent than others.
Actually, reading through a few of your posts (well, just those on this thread and your layout rant), I get the impression that you actually believe you're smarter than most everyone else. I'll admit. I think I'm smarter than the average Acmlmer. In fact I'm certain of it. I'm not the smartest guy here by any means. And I'm not the ONLY smart guy. But from what I've seen, most of you are, as I put it before, walking jokes.
