I need to figure out a way to reduce the amount of sleep I need from 8 to like... 2. Preferably zero. Is this possible with today's technology (assuming no major ill effects, such as death? )

My Spring break was last week. Explains why I actually scored in the ACS.

There are people out there who require sleep bordering on 1, or even .25.

Myself, I require about 2-3. Though, 4-5 is better on me. I tend to get 5 or 6.

I can sleep with only around 3 or 4 hours of sleep. However, I usually don't push it that far, as that is the bare minimum I can sleep for to restore my alertness to any extent. 6 or 7 is usually suffice for all other times.

If I don't post the ACS right away, it usually means I have PC problems or I'm dead tired. If it doesn't appear by the next morning (barring a note saying so) then worry.

Myself I don't need more than 8 hours of sleep. Not sure about the minimum because I like to sleep.

See, I would get a decent amount of sleep, but it doesn't help that my new roommate's alarm goes off rather early. Now, if he needs to get up early, that's fine...the problem is, he hits the snooze button, so it goes off again ~10 minutes later. And again. And again. Which basically makes it impossible to get back to sleep. And once I get up and go into his part of the room (separated by a door and a thin wall) then I can't get back to sleep no matter what. So that sucks.

... Or you could just consult with him, get him to stop.

Y'know, might be worth a try.

I get about 6 hours a night. Now, if I were able to come home and nap all the time, I wouldn't mind this. But I don't really have that kind of free time very often, which makes me dead tired when the weekend finally comes. Then I have to work and babysit.

Normally. I get 9/10 hours of sleep. But the last two days I have been waking up earlier than usual. Strange since the pain-killers are suppose to make me sleepy.

Do you have any extra that you could mail to me?

But really, I hope you feel better.

Well, I did talk to him about it. Yesterday. And he did it again today. I talked to him about it again today. We'll see if he does it again.

It was. Xkeeper even said so last month. Hopefully, it'll happen on the weekend. Whenever it happens, I plan to blare Dragonforce during the whole ordeal. It fits the mood perfectly.

Eh, I think Xk's "leave" sort of changed the happy hour plans. I assume we'll have one when he fully returns.

I doubt it.

The date has passed. This seems like his way of saying "no more"

Maybe. Maybe not. He has lied to us about things like this before. Who knows. Maybe we'll get another one when board activity is dying again. Or maybe we'll be forced to fix it ourselves.

Crazy days come and go like the wind...and I have a feeling another one is coming very soon with the small amount of activity we've had lately.

We'll have to fix the lack of activity, I think is what he meant. Which we're sure to do eventually. We need to start another fad. I tried with the weapons thing...

Yeah, but that was simply too much of an in-joke to catch on. We need to have something completely random, and we'll need "administrative support" like we had during the fish day. The fact that it is random (or PERFECTLY timed) matters. Changing all our names to the names of flowers for no reason probably isn't going to do anything this point.
