| Ah the woods, such a peaceful place to be. Trees all around with a small opened area in a spot seemingly near the middle of the woods. Blue sky above with wispy clouds. A man dressed in black jeans, red tank top, black boots and a ankle-length black trench coat. His hair was usually black with the tips dyed red but at the moment it was absolutely neon pink!
He was just walking along enjoying the outdoors. Mostly because he felt he belonged there. "Awesome day to be outdoors." He said taking a spot underneath a tree to rest for a bit. His bright blue eyes looking up into the foliage while leaning against the tree. |

| "Nature is a beauty that is quickly disappearing with the growth of civilization. It will be extinguished in no less than five hundred more years."
The voice, which had come from seemingly nowhere, remained without a host for another few seconds. Then suddenly, the whole atmosphere of the forest darkened dramatically. A blue wire frame pattern blinked over the ground and expanded outward in all directions, and in front of the man the figure of a boy, or perhaps a robot, winked into existence with a blue flash. He had spiky blue hair that pointed out from underneath a heavy metallic helmet. His eyes were hidden by a visor on the helmet, leaving only the bottom half of his smooth, pale, gray face visible. He was covered in gray armor that was actually light in weight, and sort of plastic-like. The armor and helmet had glowing blue lines that ran randomly around it, horizontally and vertically. The gloves and boots were lit up and faded through different shades of blue while marqueeing a strange language on clear screens on the surface. Upon his appearance, the forest regained its normal light, and the wire frame pattern on the ground disappeared. The boy stood unusually still as he regarded the man with an unreadable exp Pie >> "Few appreciate it in this day, but it is also important to keep with the newer times. Greetings, humanoid. | Delano jumped to his feet as his animal instincts told him that something was not right. His eyes scanned the area until they came upon the young teen. He gave a quizzical exp "Ok listen you blue spikey haired, weird armor wearing, kid. I have no idea what you're talking about. I have never heard of a city named Cybercity. So just go bug someone else." |

| Pie remained still. He was scanning Delano - breathing rate, facial patterns, brainwaves.
Pie >> "That is true; you know nothing about it." Pie walked closer to the alarmed Delano, and with a flash of light a metal rod appeared in his hand. It extended outward in both directions and was covered with glowing lines just like Pie's armor. Pie said nothing as he came closer toward Delano, but it was obvious that he had malicious intentions. |

| A low growl escaped the back of his throat as he moved away from the tree and away from Pie. Something told Delano that this kid wasn't going to be no push over. He braced himself as he watched Pie's movements carefully. | |||

| Pie detected power within Delano, and Pie wanted to see it in action. He continued his advance, now holding his rod outward at shoulder level.
Pie >> "Here is a potentially dangerous and hostile individual approaching you, and he is about to begin his assault. Defensive action on your part would be crucial to your well being. " That was Pie's hint, delivered in the greatest impassiveness, to think fast. The end of his rod blinked as Pie aimed it at Delano, and a second later a flashing beam of cybernetic energy zoomed forward, tearing apart even the air that stood in its way! |

| His eyes went wide at that and jumped to the side, avoiding the beam, and rolling into a kneeling position.
'If that would have hit I would be in serious trouble.'He thought before baring his teeth while he morphed into his white wolf form. The scar that was only visible above his right eye that lead to somewhere's on top of his head (in his human form) was now fully visible on the wolf's head that showed where it ended. Spreading his forelegs apart and lowered his head with a vicious gaze. Delano let out a growl before charging at Pie. Leaping into the air to try and bite his shoulder. |

| Pie smiled widely when Delano showed the other side of himself.
Pie >> "That is acceptable." In a motion that resembled skating, Pie slid several feet out of the way of Delano's leap, actually floating a few inches above the ground. He aimed his rod at Delano as he landed, and once more fired a powerful blue beam at the wolf. (edited by Jack Skellington on 04-02-06 03:52 AM) |

| Once Delano landed on all fours touching the ground. His ears perked up at the sound of the beam getting ready to fire. On instinct he dashed forward with a burst of speed to avoid the beam again. Turning around, he stared at Pie wondering how he could get at the teen while he was up in the air. His human form wasn't swift enough to dodge close attacks but he could climb though. He waited for Pie to try that again before making the next move. As this foe was one he had never faced before in any way. | |||

| The wolf was swift, and had successfully dodged again. Pie noticed Delano didn't try to attack, but rather waited for him to make the next move. Well then, they certainly were in combat now. Pie wouldn't leave Delano unsatisfied. He aimed his blinking rod once more...
But this time, instead of firing a beam, he just seemed to disappear. That is as much as a normal person would perceive, anyway. However, with Delano's now heightened senses he may have noticed Pie fly forward, merely a rapid blur of pixels, and stop just two feet from Delano's side. The move took a half second, and as soon as he was stationed correctly Pie swung his rod downward in an attempt to crack it over Delano's wolfy body. Deep down inside, part of him felt bad about attacking this innocent person without so much as a greeting, but that thought was instantly overrode... | There was no way that the wolf could have dodged the attack after such a short amount of time. He yelped and fell to the ground on the side he wasn't attacked on. Not expecting Pie to have such quick movements at all. Delano stood back up and jumped at him with his powerful jaws snapping. | |||

| Yes, the stick connected, but Delano was soon up on his feet again and biting at Pie! Mighty jaws, instead of piercing flesh, clamped over the cyberod that Pie pulled up for defense. Having saved himself from harm, Pie tried to wrestle the stick free from Delano's grasp, but he was too strong. Fine then. Pie let go of the stick and floated backward a few feet, facing Delano with his arms crossed. If Delano didn't let go of the stick in about three seconds, a powerful electric shock would course through it, and him! (edited by Jack Skellington on 04-03-06 04:07 PM) |

| Delano shifted back to his human form, took the rod out of his mouth and chucked it in the opposite direction just before it got the chance to shock him.

| Pie didn't answer Delano's question, though in truth he was learning Delano's fighting style and abilities, and adding them to his own memory banks. Part of this plan was put into action when Pie's visor flashed, and a harmless laser scanned Delano from his head to his feet, and back to his head. Another flash and the laser was gone, and Pie, after spinning around rapidly, became his own wolf! There were slight differences; the wolf was completely black and translucent, except for blue wireframe lines around his body. The wolf made an electronic howl, and then Pie returned to his normal form.
Pie >> "Data acquired. We will sustain combat for additional data." Tricky - if every second that Delano fought Pie only increased his skill, should he even bother? Well, he didn't have a choice, as Pie was soon charging a lethal-looking clear ball in his hand that surged with blue ones and zeros. (edited by Jack Skellington on 04-04-06 12:47 AM) |

Delano knew with Pie's ability to scan his form. He couldn't use his secret technique to make him into a lycan. Even though he wasn't desperate at the moment to do that. But having him scan that form would prove to be dangerous more so than he was now. The glowing ball didn't look to friendly and Delano dashed off into the woods. Using the trees and shrubbery to his advantage while he thought of what to do with this guy now. |

| Pie >> "Grr..."
Pie's cyber ball disappeared when he stored it in his memory, ready to be pulled back out on a moment's notice. He then flew over to his rod, which was lodged in a shrub, picked up and pursued Delano into the woods. He wandered through the trees rather lost for a bit, floating a few inches in the air for complete silence. Not finding any sign of him, Pie waited with his weapon at ready, listening for any sound that might give Delano's position away... (edited by Jack Skellington on 04-04-06 02:49 AM) |

| Fortunately, Delano is like a ninja of the woods and forests as he was great at being sneaky and hiding. Unfortunately, as he was high up in a tree branches as still as can be. A breeze past by bringing pollen and other air born unseen particles to go by him. Thus, with his heightened sense of smell (since he never loses his animal senses while switching forms) making his nose twitch and a sneeze was coming on. Seeing Pie nearing the area, he mentally cursed while trying to hold back the sneeze to leap on him. Yet it was impossible and he sneezed anyway.
"Dammit!" Just his luck that would happen at a time like this. He leaped down anyway to try and jump on Pie. If he missed he'd just land on the ground in a crouching position. |

| Pie scanned the area around him, not finding a sign of Delano. He was about to activate his thermal visor when suddenly he heard a sneeze, and before he knew it he was attacked from above! Pie tried to draw his rod to height, but Delano forcefully landed on him, knocking him to the ground. His helmet hit the earth with a crack and a sizzle, and Pie's whole armor twitched for a moment.
He was at Delano's mercy for this instant... |

| Delano punched him in the face a couple of times with a left fist while pinning him down by sitting on PIe's stomach. With his right hand, he dug into his trench coat pocket and brought out a switchblade. He opened it up and brought it down upon Pie's shoulder. Not caring how he took the blade out and just ripped it from the shoulder. | |||

| Delano was able to land his punches and stab Pie in the shoulder, though the armor protected Pie from any serious damage. Finally Pie came to his senses and released his fully charged cyber ball at Delano from his position on the ground, and then rolled back onto his feet, where he took his place hovering just a few inches above the ground once more.
Pie >> "Do not hold back. You will certainly be terminated if you do not display your greatest powers. " Pie twirled his rod as it charged some blue electricity... |
