No joke.
I guess you can give a medieval punishment for a medieval deed.

So it shocks the guy's dick? How smart is that? He'll just get pissed and kill her...

Shocks? No... Doesn't look like it. It looks like it gets STABBED INTO IT. Tell me... if you have something very sharp, pointy, and painful stuck in your dick, are you going to have enough control to kill someone? I know I wouldn't.

(Jesus... Ow. Owowowow. Reminds me of that whole myth of women sticking razor blades down there...)

I was going to respond with "image an airport metal detector" but it's only plastic and latex. Lucky for women

Just imagine your psychotic and vindictive ex-GF using this on you for revenge!

Actually though, many of the worst rapists/serial killers were also highly masochistic and might actually enjoy the pain.

I don't think you would enjoy this...

I think it's hilarious though, I've also heard about a bra that detects your heart rate and it can tell when you're getting/about to be raped and automatically calls for the police.

It doesn't seem like it really prevents rape, I mean, by that point the rape has already started.

Yeah but... the women gets the last laugh if he does decide to rape her.

I think it's a brilliant idea... until you actually thing about it. First off, you couldn't garuntee the proper use of it... and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to wear that thing 24/7.. like come home one night to my boyfriend or something and be like "hold on... I gotta take my anti-rape device out". Seems kind of.... more than a turn-off.. weirdish.

Yeah emcee, but they wouldn't be actually raped, just penetrated for a second.

And Snow Tomato, I don't think it's meant to be in 24/7, only at times you don't feel safe or something.

This does seem like something that might be good for victimized women, on the one hand, but on the other really seems like something that might be misused by vindictive women on guys who they're upset with but who aren't actually raping them. So I'm not sure how I feel about it.

The difference is that it will be a severe crime if the woman uses it on a guy who isn't raping her... but then it goes with "his word against her word" again...

You just have to have faith that people aren't that evil.

I can't imagine a device like that working properly. Your heartrate can go up driving or something, then what? The police chase you in your car? I think simply making a device that can be easily stored in bras (or purses, heh) and pushed when I woman feels threatened, would work better.

Well, the device easily stored in purses has already been invented. It's called mace. This is...well, another level of protection.

No.

Person #1: "Why keep a gun near me when I won't have to use it."

Person #2: "Even if you believe you'll never have to use it, if you're scared why not comfort yourself by having it?"

I think most serious rapists (not counting drunken sex or bullshit statutory stuff) just might be moved to murder if their penis was severely injured, and if it was'nt severe then many of them would probably like it. I read once that many serial killers did such things as poke needles through their testicles and keep them their all day long because they enjoyed the pain.

No, I highly doubt that they would like the pain, simply because they wouldn't be the ones in control. Rape is more about control and power, rather than lust, and the anti-rape thingie takes away that power. Which would leave the guy pissed off/enraged, but just because someone likes pain, that doesn't mean that they like all types of pain.

Well, even if they didn't enjoy the pain, I'm not sure that it would be debilitating enough to put the guy out for the count, and if he were already in a position of power over the woman, murder might be in the cards. That really makes me uneasy about this. Mace seems like it would be more effective.

Skydude, if you've ever been kicked in the nuts, you'd know that it's going to cause you to double over and cry out in pain. If your dick got pierced (while having a boner) I doubt anyone will be getting up for a long while.
