| To me it all started on GameFAQs
I was looking for endings when I found VG Museum, from VG Museum I found Kirby's Rainbow Resort, from KRR I saw TMK, from TMK I came to Fu's site, from there I went to see Acmlm's ROM Hack Domain, then I clicked Message Board and came here. So what caused you to be here? |

| Well, I was originally at GameFAQs when I started talking to some one there who had an Acmlm board. From there I joined many other Acmlm boards and then finally decided to join this one. | |||

A loooooong time ago, I was asked to joined..I think  . It was too long ago  , but I think I was posting at EoFF and someone from there told me to join Acmlm's, I checked it out, likeded it, and so I did  . |

| I was posting at FFLegend in 2001 and Acmlm was one of the administrators. At some point he told me about his message board which he was making from scratch. I joined it and posted a little, and then when he opened it I decided to join again. (edited by Jack-Al on 11-22-05 08:23 PM) |

HARDY HAR! I was looking for a rom of Doki Doki Panic, and was misled by Acmlm's site description. Then I learned about rom hacking, got interested, and signed up. I never intended to stay, so I quickly whipped up my dumbass username. AND HERE WE ARE! Fun fact: I never got that rom, nor have I learned to hack. 8D |

I found the main site through google because I wanted to play ROM hacks, not make one and I downloaded the Strange Mario Brothers series. I joined the message board because I wanted to ask a n00b question where the answer could be found in the Rom Hacking forum announcements. I didn't look there because I went to ask my n00b question in the Help/Suggestions forum. While waiting for the answer, I lurked around and decided to stay even after that n00b question was answered. |

Then I clicked the link at the bottom of the board titled "Acmlm" and was led here* *By here I meant the Acmlm board of 2003. Not this new one. |

| Eh, Im an interesting case really... we are all are in a sense...
The short version... the first board restart put me on equal posting ground with everyone else, and brought something out in me. Originally, I never planned on sticking around. I was going to ask a few questions on rom hacking then go back to lurking. (Yes, I did hack SMW... fairly well for the time). Slowly though, I came to know a few people here, and got somewhat integrated into this community. Found a place in the BT forum... not a big place, but a good, solid, beginning foundation. 3.4 posts per day... then the board crashed... And something sparked in me, that spurred me on to get active... and thats when the posts began flowing out from the keyboard. I stuck myself into the BT forum, posted in several places, dropped the hacking deal and just did what I did best... be myself. Eventually, my avidness got me promoted
Really... I was SHY when I came here... now Im not... and it sort of spilled over into real life as well. XD So, yeah, theres my short story for the day... I need to go assemble some tables |
