| I finally found the best method to do 10 footers by minimalizing the amount of movement your feet make. Just letting the tips of your toes or ball of your feet hit the arrows. It's hard to perfect, atleast it has been for me, but I was able to do Max 300 then PS back to back using this technique. It's the samething that elite players probably do but I'm glad I finally got the hang of it. | |||

Behold the EVIL Konami has created... EDIT by Hiryuu because IT NEEDS LINKAGE. By the by, the audio is more like a megamix since the audio has the announcer on there. EDIT 2: The GAP in the DWI file should be changed from 79 to 25. EDIT 3: The audio isn't right. It's missing 5 seconds. The freeze on 0.40 is off too. | Well at the arcade light steps may not be optional since minimizing your steps may mean you step partially on the center pad plate, so lightly stepping may cause you to not activate the arrow (atleast at my arcade). I also still tend to step hard when moving slightly so I can still hear my steps. However, stepping lightly will be great for me to try on my CF pads later on. | |||

| I much prefer making full steps... Shuffling just doesn't appeal to me, it seems like a cheap way to get through stages. I make full steps on everything, even my attempts at SURVIVOR. | |||

| Rooted through my files annnnd I think I've got something of an idea of what I'm going to do for 6th now.
Might just work off the KoF groove I've got Grey on. I know EMERALD GREEN is one I should sim soon, since NEW WORLD is almost at 1000 DLs now... I've got a couple of ideas in mind but nothing over the top like 280 or Satan's Theme. I've had one I've wanted to get to for a while, being Revolutionary Etude (think Kakumei), that would serve to be a decent test of my BPM change abilities again. Madou Monogatari/Puyo SPCs were relased. You might see some more of that. Dunno what else... Any ideas, people? Looking for something high speed. (edited by Hiryuu on 02-01-06 08:01 AM) |

| hmm, my idea of shuffling as I know it might not be the same as yours. My idea of shuffling is doing this [left down right down left (turn)] but rather than turning, you double step so your body doesn't turn, thus, shuffling your feet. When I minimize my steps, I still turn, but my whole foot doesn't touch the arrows. Even though I can still do all the songs save PSMO full stepping, if I seriously want to practice 10 footers, minimized stepping is the way to go for me. It's been quite some time since I made a post in here That's mostly due to having a lack of new simfiles to play, as well as not having a whole lot of time to play them, but last weekend, before I left for home, I downloaded all of DukAmok's new simfiles, so I've got 8 screens to show today. Actually, two are of the same song, but one's an AAA, so I figured I might as well post both of them 
:: Counting Snow; Heavy / Challenge :: Cynthia; Heavy :: Daikenkai (Core); Challenge :: Dignity; Challenge :: Return of Salieri; Heavy :: Salieri Strikes Back; Heavy :: Summer (Speedy Mix); Challenge I think I might've posted any of the last 3 before, but I don't have a previous screenshot of them, so for now, I'm, going to assume I haven't. As for Dignity, it's Moogy's version, and quite difficult, at that. Mostly because it starts off quite fast and doesn't let up at all, but that aside, I managed to pass it, so that's why the screenshot is there 
As per the usual though, that's all I have time to say, for now. |

| So I've found that throwing on a bunch of arrow mods is an excellent way to make Light/Standard songs refreshing again.
X2/Reverse/Flat/Sudden/Shuffle for (Actually, I don't think I had all of those on at the same time, but it was most of them) |
