I can play PSMO three times in a row and get an A all the time. I even recently FC'd PSMO, so yes I will pass FaxX and I will do it with a B if not better, so nya!

Oh, and btw, I am an expert DDR player!


Oh and for those of you who don't know about 573, Konami is represented by the number "573". "5" in Japanese is "go", changed to unvoiced form "ko"; "7" in Japanese is "nana" shortened to "na"; "3" in Japanese is mittsu, shortened to "mi". "573" = "ko-na-mi"
They also represent 573 as the max combo in MAX 300 and The Legend of MAX Heavy. Also, the time record for oni courses are 00:57:30
I know 555 means something, but I don't remember what.

Haha.

So, um, anyone have a single song that they play with mods that would seem to defy logic? For instance, I generally play at a speed of X1 or X1.5, with one exception: So Deep (A not-fast-but-not-that-slow-either 140BPM), which I do on X2 because it makes the last third or so much easier to read for me.

Anyone else?

I do 10-footers with 1.5x (negating bag).

I just seem to do better on them on pad than I would without.

Well, I'd think you'd have to be able to A (or maybe high B) the top 10-footers in DDR to have a chance at getting past that one. Even then, based on what I saw, I'd think a C or a D would be the likely outcome. :\ It just seems so manic.

Just got a transposed SM of it.

656 tap steps in 1:44...but, of course, there's always a catch:



Note the pattern? 4-16-64 (negating the 0). Much like 1-2-4. Wonder if this has something to do with it being the 4th MAX (not counting period).

Oh, yes, I B'd the transposed version of it. It's a bitch.

You know, all this talk about FaxX and nothing about the fact that PARANOiA -Respect- is in the lineup this time around.

Hell, even the Standard-9 chart on that is a bitch. I still have issues AAing it on keyboard for Heavy with the damn runs intersparsed with fake freezes at the end.

Few things I want to bring up.
1. I'm sorry about getting all pissed off about Colin's remark, but I do consider myslef in the top 0.0001% of DDR players.
2. How does FaxX sound, Hiryuu?
3. PSM doesn't count as a Max at all because then regular Paranoia Survivor would have to also.
4. The main mods I use are 0.5x on Bag and Stealth for Max 300, Maxx Unlimited, and LOM . I put 1.5x on songs I try and get a really high score on.
5. I finished the Standard steps on my song Bombs Over Baghdad (Technically it's OutKast's song actually ). Just gotta finish Heavy (and maybe Challenge) and it'll be ready. But I have a feeling I made Standard too hard, I want it to be a nine, but it's rather tenish. (1700 steps exactly; Light has 1300 exact)
6. What skin is that Hyruu? I love it!!
8. There was no 7
9. Got 9 Perfects on Abyss Heavy
10. I'm STIFF (so thankful it's finally Friday)

2) I'm not really sure. The sound quality was from the rip of that vid and is was 32kbps/44KHz...not exactly the best I've heard ever. From what I can tell it seems to go from pianoish tendencies to flat-out old MAX sped up with a few effects. I'm not sure, you'd have to see the vid until someone leaks a rip of it.

7) Stepmania System Zero. Fuhucked up lil injoke theme. Get it at BMS's forum on themes.

The arcade closest to my house... fat chance. I haven't seen ANYTHING Bemani in there (but I should really go play Neo-Geo again one of these days) and won't hold out any hope of that happening anytime soon. Might have to do some snooping.
