That combo thing isn't a bug. It's intentional. I don't know what FOR but I know that it's used for something...Possibly some sort of combo count high score?

Anyways, I got a popular redux of something in the works but I'm waiting for a few people to see if they want a piece of it. I've already simmed another Oni-10 out of said piece.

Maybe. There's a "peak combo" count similar to DDR's after every song, but it's just supposed to apply to the song as far as I know.

Oh, the other thing I like is that it gives you your exact percentage in addition to a letter grade. R0x on with that.

I...know. >>

Then again, I doubt very seriously that you frequent BMS's forums as often as I do either to know this.

I don't visit BMS's online forums at all, actually.

So does anyone actually KNOW why it continues the combo? As I have it set now, there's no overall "max combo" after every set of songs like there is with DDR (And DDR computes it a different way anyway from my understanding), so....

Geh.... I don't like ITG too much, but I guess the fact that EE's using it as his training vehicle means I'm going to have to step things up a bit if I want to keep up with him. Too bad I've done most of the 9s on my local DDR machine and only have the high end Paranoias and Maxes standing in my way.

It's like some kind of plateau, the jump between the normal songs and the ZOMG RED RED RED songs is amazing. I'm almost prepared to just stop getting better and be happy at 9 feet.

I drew a crowd today, after all...

We have ITG2 and theres always a crowd at our arcade...theres also this weird asian that comes in everyday and watches us....

Honestly I'm really glad I started 4 panel dancing games playing ITG, Once I could pass one or two 11s the paranoias and maxes we're never a big problem.

To say it's my "training vehicle" is overstating it a bit--more like I'm incorporating it into the rotation of DDR games. And I totally agree that the jump from 9 to 10 is much bigger than anything that came before it.

Well actually, I think it has a lot to do with stamina.
10's are only hard because they require a lot of work (except Bag and Sakura, which probably became the first 10's you ever beat on Extreme). The 10's become rather doable after a while. It's not a hard jump.

Consider some of the really hard 9s in DDR and compare them to the easy 10s (Sakura, PS) and the jump isn't that bad really. It's just most people don't practice 10s enough to get good at them like they do the 9s. That's the only reason I suck at Max 300. I can do the first half of it just fine, full combo but I bail out after cuz I never practice further than that very often.

Does anyone think the songs for DDRex2 have lost their techno feeling?
Everything is hip-hop, Brittaney Spears, etc.
I think the song selection is going to hell in this style.

AGREED!

And as for my progress in Paranoia Survivor, I'm running out of steam right as I get to the crazy part after the freeze.... Anyone have any suggestions to build sprint stamina? Nonstops won't do it for me, they're marathons more than anything else...

Just say to yourself: "It's only 10BPM faster than Drop Out. It's only 10BPM faster than Drop Out." That's how I got through it.

Does anyone have online play for Ex2? I don't, but when I do, I'd like to challenge my fellow DDR playing Acmlmers.

ULTRAMIX3=XBOX Correct?

Yeah.

It also = <3

Drop Out is my "Alright, bitch. Don't try that shit on me" song. Full combo against my arch-nemesis at the arcade was pretty sweet.

Followed by a AA of Seniorita and Be Lovin'.

Oh, I miss being able to play DDR.

[sighs]

This close to passing SAKURA Heavy on hard pad via arcade. I could've done it but I had worn myself out with other stages.

Seems I'm getting better with this visit downstate. AA'd right off the bat on a warmup for Vanity Angel. That right there told me that I did something right. Secured 2 AA's, a large load of A's and a few B's. LOM Standard FC'd.

I will say that I learned what stricter timing was though. It was hard seeing my scores, FCing, and only getting As on it. Though, I rarely pick it up on the hard pad as it is so...I must be doing something right.

What's your death course?
What stages do you play just cause their the hardest songs you can do?
I like to play MAXX UNLIMITED, The Legend of MAX, then PARANOiA Survivor Max Oni.
I would prefer to do SMO, MAXX, then MAX 300. Get an AA and do Legend. (This is my prefered death course, but it's hard to pull off an AA after smo, and maxx)
