Personally, I really don't like it. :/ The first pic looks too....blah. And the mix of BB enemies and SMW enemies don't work well. As for the second pic, I don't like the blue stuff. :/

It's much to similar to the original SMW-levels. You really should delete everything in a level and start completely from scratch.

Level 105 is, um, very pink . . .

I think it might work quite well with a pastelish background; but on black it is just disturbing.

And I don't really like the cyan on level 107; Sorry to be harsh, but level 107 really does just look like a bad pallet job.

But, if you work on level 105 a bit more; and you add some nice colour matched backgrounds and build a theme from there it might just work.

What the...? It's a good start, but it needs a lot of work. One thing to remember while making hacks is that just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. This is doable, but very difficult to make good while still staying true to Bubble Bobble.

I advise you to use the graphics from an more recent bubble bobble game with better graphics. I think there is a GBA version that will look pretty good.

Yes, there's a GBA version of the game. Bubble Bobble Old & New, to be exact. Here's the boxart:

What would be cool is if you used the standard Ledge object for the pink parts, and stacked the ledeg tops on top of eachother, making the grassy tile pink and the just-sand tile invisible. Then it'd not only look like the platforms in Bubble Bobble, but act like them too.

Now if you could get Bubble Bobble music in there...

1. Use the <img> tag next time.
2. It's ugly.

Geocities doesn't allow for direct image linking, unless I've missed something lately.

If they were working links though, they could be dragged and dropped

Gonna ignore that second point and tell you that free image hosting sites do exist. Like tinypic. And imageshack.

Secondly, those new graphics burn my eyes. I can't believe a professional designer came up with something that horrid.

I don't dispute that there are free image hosts, but I was respoinding to the statement "1. Use the tag next time." which won't do a damn thing for someone who's linking to Geocities. Since I have my own hosting, I'm not up to date on the specifics of free image hosting, so I didn't bring it up.

Well yeah, but he could've used a different one

Though I wouldn't have recommended <img>ing these ones anyway, since they're huge and ZOMG TABLE STRETCHING. Just saying that. Well. Yeah.

Edit: Seriously, what the hell. 5888x432 on the first one? That's. No. And 2816x432 is almost as bad
