I need some help on how to change an enemy into an object that can transport you to another level (bonus level.) If you guys don't know wht I'm talking about, when you switch the enemy editor, you can see some objects on the bottom of the level which has data to send you to another boom (bonus level.) All, I want to know is that can you change an enemy into that kind of object or add one?

Its been awhile since Ive used SMB Utility. I know that objects change when moved to the bottom of the screen. But I'm pretty sure that if you cant move the enemy down to to bottom of the screen with the numpad, then I don't think you can change it to an object...with SMB Utility that is.

You can't remove the 3-byte enemy off, that might change the hex banks. Just right click it to send them off. And you can't add 3-byte bonus rooms either. Otherwise you're breaking enemy tables in the hex. That means FF will be taken off and will continue to read the sprites. |
