Wow I bet the cat smelled something good if your parents was cooking something or if something is in the microwave or toaster. Is it your cat probably not.

Spaying/neutering animals is serious business. There is a major dog and cat overpopulation problem in the United States because too many people allow their animals to breed unchecked. Thousands of healthy, well-behaved animals are killed in shelters because there is no room for them. Spaying/neutering improves animals' health, too, by preventing various cancers and other diseases of the reproductive system. Both of my cats had their reproductive organs removed at the age of six months.
