alright. i keep changing mario and luigi's hat pallete and thier shirt changes with it and i know why its because i'm doing it in the LM pallete editor XD. so could someone describe a way for me to fix that is kinda simple cause i really don't know much about hacking yet.

By using an already used color, like Brown, as in Feet. Or White, as in Eyes.

You should open up yy-chr and change his hat gfx so they the same palette as the pants.

YoshiBandit is correct. You have to open up AllGFX.bin in YY-CHR and scroll down to near the very bottom. Mario's GFX should be there. Use the various drawing tools to change the hat so it uses the same colors as the pants.
