I dunno, it's the same as how people don't know the trick in GB Tetris to get more of any piece you want through an exploit.

Besides; it's hypothetical. It wouldn't matter anyway, since whoever would do that even if it was allowed would probably get banned really fast and get renamed to "HTML abuser" or something.

There's a trick to get any piece you want? Perhaps some time when I'm in dire need of a line I'll need to use it, once I find out what it is...

$username=str_replace("<","&lt",$username);
So no, it wouldn't work. The limit is 25.

You have to move the piece you want confusedly around; as if you're unsure what to do with it. The game records X movement and rotations, and the more "trouble" you have with a piece, the more of it it gives you.

@ stag, I figured it would do something like that. It was at least better than that guy who registered Acm|m

That doesn't seem so much like an exploit as a cruel joke if you aren't really trying to do it, considering the pieces you move around the most tend to be the ones you want the least.

I guess I need to play line-spinner whenever I can now

I believe there was another trick in Tetris DX. If you held a piece against a wall all while rotating it against the wall rapidly (counterclockwise for the left wall, clockwise for the right wall), it would slowly go upward. It was useful under certain circumstances, but if I remember correctly, you had to spin them too fast for it to be helpful at higher levels.

Ha ha. Because it rolls up the wall. Cool.

Not really Tetris-related, but there's a glitch in Mario Kart DS that lets you indefinitely extend your rocket boost at the start of the level, and those you get by hitting boost pads.

I wonder if that would count for a seperate name or not

I know this is kinda late, but you could have an admin make that your name. That's the only possible way to do that. Hmmmm...

Rockin out to GD (1:20:19 PM): so, are color tags allowed in usernames?
Xkeeper NaN (1:23:29 PM): no, why
Rockin out to GD (1:26:39 PM): because people are arguing with me that it is allowed
Rockin out to GD (1:26:44 PM): are any tags allowed?
Xkeeper NaN (1:26:48 PM): no.

Problem solved!

I've known that you aren't allowed to have tags with you usernames. I was just simply stating that what I had said is the only possible way you could get a user name like that.

You. CAN have tags, just... Only at a head administrator's discretion. That's my understanding of it, anyway.

Yeah, you know, come to think of it, that isn't really the question that needed to be asked. Of course we wouldn't be ALLOWED to have them, that makes sense. What I'm wondering is whether or not they would WORK if you put them in.

If Xk were to allow it, then probably. Isn't that how other boards get their flashy names and such?

One, it works.
Two, most people just change the powerlevel and sex colors. As for the flashy names like at Romendo's, yes, a <img src="linkage"> is being used in the username.

It works. It works on every Acmlm Board unless the owner decided to turn the HTML off in usernames. Want me to prove this to you?

No, I do not want you to register another account. Unless you want to be banned. You know the rules.
