I tried changing the black pirana plant sprite to look like spikes; I put it in; I inserted it on Lunar Magic, and it still looks like the black pirana plant. I checked everything to make sure i was in the right folders and yes I was; I edited this black pirana plant in AllGFX.bin and also the GFX33.bin file, but still even after I insert them for some stupid reason, it's not changing on LM!

Are you sure you're inserting the GFX, and not the ExGFX? If that's not the case, then try closing Lunar Magic and re-opening it (and your hack). Sometimes, you have to do that before it'll show up.

Umm.. I don't think it would be possible to do otherwise, but are you editing the animations?

Yes, that's what he is doing, and it is very possible to change the normal animations.

Well, if those two methods didn't work, my only other guess is that somehow, you forgot to actually save the file with the new tiles. Else, you should double and triple check everything to see if you're doing it right, and describe your EXACT process to us, step by step, from program to program.

Here it'c comes step by step guys:

1. I'm opening LM right now
2. In LM I open my rom named "SMEW3.smc"
3. We're in; next I open my YY-CHR
4. I go in the Graphics folder of SMEW3; I search for the black pirahna plant GFX; I found it it's GFX33.bin.
5. I find the black pirahna plant area replaced with my custom spikes; I save it about 15 times.
6. Because that didn't work I open up the AllGFX.bin in SMEW3; now I scroll all the way down where I replaced the black pirahna plant earlier; and save it; so now it's all saved.
7. I go back to my LM screen; I push the Green Mushroom button to insert the regular GFX I edited earlier; Isave fifteen times; I do what you said and close out LM, and then I come back and go to where the Black Pirahna plant is in direct objects, and they still have not changed.

This is too wierd and I don't know what could be the problem; I've never had a problem before with editing sprites until today; it's aggravating and illogical.

Don't know if this will help, but my black pirahnas aren't moving; even though in my GFX33.bin it's got seperate graphics for when they do.

If you are going to insert the AllGFX to the Rom, make sure you have the "Use Joined GFX Files"-option enabled.

Maybe your GFX file is corrupt, I've had that problem a few times. But then I couldn't open them.

P.S. I use Tile layer pro so I wouldn't know if YY-CHR would open it if it were corrupted.
