Hi all. Sorry for my inactivity, and its late here so I'll try to make this quick.

I've made a new dynamic image generator out of PHP. This time it creates old man quotes. So now you can make images of the old man from Zelda saying anything you want. Here is an example:

Generating the text:
The image generator is here: http://mvent2.awardspace.com/oldman.php
To get the old man to say something, you must pass the text as a variable called "string".
EDIT: To keep with standards of image generators, I have made it so you can also pass a string as the "text" variable. However, "string" will override "text" if you supply both.

As with any output program, the first thing you should get it to say is...

Using screenshots:
The only other variable you can pass for now is the "screen" variable. By default, this is set to "1".

Current templates:
Screen 1 - Old man: "Its dangerous to go alone! Take this."
Screen 2 - Old man: "Spectacle rock is an extrance to death."
Screen 3 - Old man: "Digdogger hates certain kind of sound."
Screen 4 - First shopkeeper.
Screen 5 - Old woman.
Screen 6 - Ending message. "text" becomes the congratulatory text above Link & Zelda. You may also pass the special option "landname".

Landname:
This option can be optionally passed if you use screen 6. By default, the message is "Finally, peace returns to Hyrule", like in the original game. However, you can replace Hyrule with whatever you want.
Example: landname=vegas


Don't type in too large a string or else the image will look ugly. And don't try to pass characters not in the character set of the original game.

Have fun, if you ever decide to try this.
