| Ok..
Is there any way to change marios standing still picture to his first walking sprite? Because I am inserting (not mario) sprites over it and when "mario" is standing still it looks ulgy. because it uses a mirror tile for the legs...and the arms -.- (Can this be done for big and small mario)? Here is a screenshot showing what I mean...  this is what I got..

Can anyone help? | You can change the sprites by scaraficing other sprites, and change'em with a hex editor. I did this when I hacked Luigi's Chronicles, it was hard at first but once I understood how it works, it really isn't hard to do.
on my host there's a thread on smb1 hacking, (scroll down some & you'll find what yer lookin for.) Do you know how to use a hex editor? If ya's don't take a look at this doc. That hex lesson helped me out alot when I needed to learn hex. Study the notes and you'll be good to go, good luck with the hack.

| That was what I did for my first hack. I don't really have a link to it anymore, but look up "Curse from the Outskirts Redux" on Google, it should be on there somewhere. I know it somehow got hosted on a bunch of sites. I'm not saying not to do it, but check mine out first fo some ideas.
