| If Harry Potter has taught us nothing else, it's that Time Turners are the answer. | |||

| But then 4 oclock wouldn't have the same meaning. If the day ends at 12, then 6 would be noon. So 4 would be fairly early, probably when school starts. And then you're gonna be all whacked out. Getting home from school at 8, wtf?! | |||

| Yeah... but it'd seem like it was 3:00. Cause the time isn't changing.. just the labels. | |||

Which is exactly why the other dude's idea made no sense. You'd have to trick your mind into believing it was beneficial before it actually becomes beneficial. ![]() |

| Heres a new idea... STOP COMPLAINING!!! If your boss says you have 3 days to do this... WORK LATE! You can go a day without sleep if you have time to sleep after that then do it... 27 hours is like, changing life itself... won't work. (edited by The Red Snifit on 03-25-06 08:21 PM) |

...Nobody's complaining, wtf?
He was trying to find a solution to give us seemingly more time, because everyone would like more time. |

| We still need to invent the metric clock...
This isn't really a good idea; to complicated to implement when the only effect is psychological. |

| Isn't daylight savings time essentialy only physchological? And the benefits of which you must convince yourself to be...well, beneficial, not unlike the idea proposed here? Not saying the idea is all that practical, but the concept is essentialy already put in to practice in a good part of the world (I guess certaint regions don't follow DST?), so it isn't all that far-fethched. | |||

| Well, DST is both purely psychological and not, at the same time. The idea is basically that we're moving an hour of light, so to speak, from the beginning of the day to the end of the day. So basically, it's beneficial if you get more value out of that hour of daylight at the end of the day than the beginning. | |||

| What a stupid idea
It doesn't accomplish anything but it makes you FEEL like its doing something... CLEARLY this person suffers from a lack of things to do... ironic that he'd be using his time to figure out a way to make it seem like he had much more time to waste ![]() |
