| Apart from being quite funny who people who know both companies well, it's apparently was made by Microsoft employers. They probably just wanted to poke fun on traps that Microsoft have done in the past when it comes to packeting.

That kind of microsoft let's put shit everywhere packaging is the kind I really hate. There's something to be said for simplicity and sleekness. The MS type package is the type I avoid at all costs. |

| That's certainly true, but on the other hand, I like to have as much information about a product as possible before buying it. Not that Microsoft only puts useful information on their packaging (ha!) but some info is better than none.
Although I've never seen the iPod box up close, so I can't really say if I like it.
